I said Hulk, not everybody**;** his hurtbox is big enough for the reset to hit like every time Nemmy goes for it. Nice try tho
are u slow? i said everyone? THAT INCLUDES HULK⦠is ur brain on right?
So whatās the tactic that Hulk can use to escape the grab? and dont tell me āneutral air recoveryā pleaseā¦
how about i make a video about it to get the smart assery out of u, ull see it on the fp of SRK soon, if not iāll post it here
tbh at certain heights all characters can escape a Tentacle Slam M jab reset by neutral teching since it makes them fall faster than a back or front tech would, thus they dodge the grab. However say from Clothesline if they were s.Lāed why the opponent was still high from the clothesline they do neutral tech into the tentacle slam M, but then front techs are then weak.
Iām talking about basic deadly reach resets, i think Hulk and Haggar cannot escape from it with a neutral recovery due to the big hurtbox.
nope u are wrong and i will prove it, gonna make a high quality vid
This is why I prefer sM to sL. Itās longer reach and height often puts them in a place where Tentacle Slam M has a better chance of hitting them. Also, I prefer the timing of the move.
the only downside to M is that you have to be a little tighter on your inputs since it comes out slower. This is no big deal offline, and is an easy peasy adjustment, but ONLINE, this becomes a bigger issue.
aside from that, yeah, s.M is an equally good reset tool as S.L.
You saying this got me to try this reset out in Training Modeā¦um is the answer by chance āHold upforward while teching, then press an air normalā or am I doing the DR reset wrong (OTG assist + fH, M-Tentacles right? I donāt use it myself soā¦)? It seems to sometimes work so far for Hulk, Haggar, IronFist, Task, Hawk,⦠:wonder:
If not, a hint please?
(oh, mashing Missiles assist before getting grabbed also softens the blow, but thatās w/e).
Depends on the character and the HSD of the combo, but neutral tech jab or forward tech jab depending on which gets everyone out of all of them
A neutral tech + light attack can work if the Tentacle Slam M timing isnāt precise enough. I did a lot of testing with air normals and all 3 air recovery options. If timed right, the reset hits. If the timing is wrong, the opponent can escape it or it flat out misses.
Can you try explaining again? I donāt really followā¦
neutral tech can mess with your timing and jabs alter their hurtbox in the air just enough to make sloppy reset timings whiff.
