That’s the rub though(I do so enjoy Pirates of the Carribean). Because of how lightning works, where it crosses up, then zaps you, it becomes vulnerable to jH, especially one option selected to grab as well. He’s either run into an already active one, or it will come out and catch him from behind, as nearly every Zero will have to enter that giant mass of tentacles to get through the move.
In addition, lets say Zero’s trying Buster-Lightning on the ground. Because of Buster’s minimal stun time, you can actually launch them if they try that, or even just jab him. Lightning as a move is scary, but Zero often gets overzealous when using the Buster for cover.
Point is, good Zeros throw the lightnings when backed up by an assist (for example, Jam Session), so your punish attemp can end up being a free combo for Zero and his BS.
Yes, but as I said before, I’m talking about Zero neutral, and have stated before that Nemesis suffers vs Zero + assists. But when you talk about matchups in this game, factoring in assists makes things really complicated. Afterall who’s to say that Nemesis doesn’t have Strider to knock Zero out of the air while he’s trying all the mixups.
