I usually play SF4 with a PS3 pad on PC, which is fine and all, but I recently discovered a local place I can play at. Only issue is that judging from some pictures they play on 360, which is a massive roadblock for me if I want to start playing there. So what should I do? I’ve heard Madcatz do Fight Pads but they don’t really last long. I’ve read about a PS2 to Xbox 360 converter I can buy, which is an xtokki, but I’m kind of on the fence about that one, I’ve heard some mixed reviews of it being delayed, and I don’t want to wait 1-2 weeks for something that may not work. The ideal choice would need to be long lasting and reasonably priced, I wouldn’t want to pay much more than around $20-$40. Also, it’d need to be compatible with PC, as the new controller would replace my PS3 pad.
I use to use this before I switched over to an arcade stick:

You can use your PS3 controller on a Xbox 360 and PC or vica versa. It’s $40 though, but it works well.
I disagree.
The Cronus does have its issues, it also causes the other player to drop inputs and lag and its banned at several tourneys
I would go with the PS2 to Xbox 360 converter
Use your ps3 pad with a madcatz fightpad in a project box.
Edit: Yeah, guess I’ll use the Xtokki then.
I agree with sikwidit. Unless you have a project box with a fightpad/brawlpad you’re just opening yourself up to latency and tournament legality.
Apparently the Xtokki requires you to press down hard on the triggers for it to work. Is the mayflash a better option then? I need a wired controller, of course, but I haven’t heard anything else bad about the mayflash.
Adapters are shit including the Mayflash one. If you’re going to do an adapter route, deal with the Xtokki as it’s the only one that you’ll be under 1 or 2 frames of latency with, otherwise go with one of the solutions posted via Missing Person, Darksakul or sikwidit.
I’m not sure there’s anything new and relevant that can be posted.
