a nice way to learn kara is go in practice mode and choose a character like Chun, Oro, or Remy. They all have 1 button kara throws so no directional input to throw you off. For Oro if you want something even easier to begin with you can kara his UOH just drum from mk to mp on your stick and you’ll see his UOH goes a good bit further. Now apply that same concept except drum from mk to lp+lk. I usually use middle finger for the kara, thumb for lk and index for jab.
Quit bein a little pussy bitch and pick whoever you want.

If you don’t find any of the characters fun enough to play without having to be convinced to do so then maybe you shouldn’t be playing.

Seriously. I can never understand the “I can’t pick a character” mentality. Just pick the one you enjoy the most. If you don’t really enjoy any of the characters enough to know which one to pick, play another game.
If you’re new to the game, pick up Ken for a while. He’s pretty much 3s wrapped up in one character.

maybe i’d have this dilemma if it were an rpg…
you dont seem like the competitive type, so just pick everyone and have some fun…

actually i enjoy playing ryu the most ~even more then Ken but is ryu do predictible to go to competetions?
if theres a guy whos really good at parrying would he be able to parry most of my attacks??!

it depends on your style. Ryu’s not predictable if you’re not predictable.
