Note to Mods- I’m only asking for some help, NOT how to attain programs, ISOs, etc.
Ok i figured out how to get Chankast to work and run the game, but the games afterwards looks all messed up graphically. Things not displaying right, stuff not showing up at all, characters looking like pixelated blocks, etc.
My laptop that i’m running it on, is a 2006 Dell Inspiron B120. These specs:
Celeron-M 1.4Ghz W/1MB L2 Cache
512MB DDR2 Ram
40GB HDD
Intergrated Graphics
There is the possibleity my laptop is’nt powerful enough with intergrated graphics. However it plays ALL my EMU stuff like MVC1 and Melty Blood Flawlessly, also since my laptop is New it has current intergrated graphics standard. So it should be able to handle some 5-6 year old DC games…
Anyone else have this problem with chankast? Is their some extra filter or something i’m missing?

Well specifically this is MVC2 i was trying to run, and not only do certain parts of the game not display properly or not show up at all, but the 2D characters themselves…they just look all blocky&stuff.
Now my comp DEFINITLY has the power to run any other 2D game with zero issues, such as MVC1 and Melty Blood Final Tuned.
So assuming my laptop is’nt powerful enough to display the 3D aspects of MVC2, like stages, but then why are the 2D characters so blocky and not showing up right either?
Man, just buy a DC and save yourself some time.
Well the game i was trying to play is MVC2, and i already HAVE MVC2 for the PS2. But it would’ve been nice if i could have it on the PC as well…Until one day when Naomi Arcade is emulated.
However, i wonder if my laptop would be powerful enough to play MVC2 arcade as well?
I also have Project justice and it would’ve been neat to play that game again. Not worth going through the trouble to buy a DC for 1 game, IMO.
Oh and it was’ent that much trouble to get the DC emu going, once i realized i had to download Daemon tools to mount the image, and after i realized i was clicking on the wrong Chankast icon. After that it was just a matter of if my laptop was powerful enough.
You need a thrid party graphics card.

it works fine on my integrated graphics crap.
Intel Extreme Graphics 2.
try Zwrite and Alpha test Zwrite.
