I’m not sure Sas, as Sota toys made a figure of S.Akuma with which I thought was the kanji, but it looks different from that…hmm

On wikipedia’s akuma article, it says the kanji on his back means “immortal”.
Wikipedia is hardly the most credible source on the net. The kanji on Akuma’s back means “TEN”, which stands for heaven/sky, or even early death. The Kanji that seems to have been created by capcom specifically for CVS2 Shin Akuma means “Godman” or “Man with the power of a God”.
