wat do vs juri
This should be in the matchup thread, but no one has posted there in forever :s . So hereās what I can say about Juri:
You win the long-range / zoning game, so donāt be afraid of it. You also win at point-blank range where your Cr.mp or St.Mk>combo can punish. Juri has the advantage at all the ranges between these two ranges.
Scrubby Juriās love to backdash then bank charges at the start of the round. Long-range Ground-pound to preempt them.
Juries H.Fuharen (double windy kicks) is -11 on block and ends with her close. Punish with St.Hp>combo.
Juriās M.Fuha overhead cancels in L.Fuha for a mixup. Punish the 6-frame gap after the overhead with TC or St.Mk>combo.
i mustāve posted that here on accident

i got my vote for phenom

If my math is correct, Haitani has placed in the Top 10 in 27 tournaments heās entered since SFV launched.
Top 8, twenty-four times.
Top 5, twenty-one times.
Top 3, eleven times.
My vote is for Haitani.
Haitani hands down.
Also, Necalli isnāt popular because heās new (which attracts people at first but then tends to lose folks to their old mains) and is a straight forward, zero gimmick, fundamentals based character. I mean, how much more pure can you get when your trigger is just a flat power up? He has way more in common with the returning SF2 characters than he does with the rest of the cast. Know why Blanka and Honda didnāt make the cut? Because the developers were trying to not double up on character types, so Necalli took their spot. You could probably drop Necalli into SF2 or SFA with next to no changes (make his trigger automatic at low health or cost meter) and he wouldnāt really be that out of place. That sounds like a great and fun character to me, but I grew up with SF2, and a lot of players now grew up with SF4, so I can see why they might want something different.

Brolynho
Vagabond
Thatās probably the right order of top 5.
