his down hk looks god like in terms of speed, recovery is still a mystery possibly safe at max range? look at 43 seconds, but it looks so fast on start up, possibly punished at 2:14

1:15 his wanna be beserker barrage possibly safe? if so that’s a good tool imo, i dunno if the ken players punishment was off because he failed to punish it quite a few times, i think the very first time he does this i think the necalli player might have been mashing because ken was able to punish and his crouching mk hit as a counter hit so for me this move looks like it might be safe at least to normals, i think you’ll eat command grabs all day long though, but the pushback looks ok

blocked seismo also gives just as much v trigger gauge as on hit at least that’s what it looked like to me
8)beserker barrage in v trigger hits twice and might not be safe on block, seems to get punished

Yeah the berserker barrage might be a good move to buffer on cr.mk on footsie, but I’m not sure it combos from all ranges. It’s definetly not a blockstring so use it sparingly and never against ryu.
It also pushes the opponent back A LOT, even on block. If it’s safe it should be abused as much as possible.
Yeah you’re right possible button dependent, ie hp travels furthest but cant be comboed, but you’d never use the hp version anway, the lp version looks like it travels enough especially at the range you’ll be cancelling it from, but you can always switch to seismo, which seems like a great all round move, if im not wrong you can even combo into it i swear i saw that in his trailer, so even if have to use it even if blocked you’re always building V trigger because it even builds on block, if beserker barrage is unsafe
His dp seems pretty decent, has a nice arc so you can possibly use it to hop over fireballs but also progress forward
Yes you can combo into his v-skill. The question is if it’s worth it. Chun can also punish people with v-skill, but imo the damage tradeoff isn’t good (obviously this is up for the player to decide).

Are we sure his DP isn’t just his Berserker Barrage on HP a la Viper? That’s what I figured when they only put up two moves on his reveal post (assuming the stomps are VT only).

yes that’s right punish, but necalli get’s V gauge even if it’s blocked and the seismo looks like it’s decent damage like projectile damage, so at least in my eyes theoretically it looks like win win situation for necalli for me, i mean i dont know if chunli still builds vgauge if the foe blocks her i swear nashes does not, also i dont know how safe chun li if they block it necalli looks safe, i dont even know if chunners can cancel off of her normals into her vskil leading to like a situation where she will build V gauge no matter what, for me necalli has that strongly in his favor
I would say yes it’s not necallis optimal punish, but it’s a win win, you do decent damage and get v gauge if you land the combo, if you fuck it up and they block it you still get V gauge and possibly chip, i dont know if it does chip though
He has a different walk animation with v-trigger on. Looks sick (second match).

Necalli’s win animation where he picks up the unconscious opponent looks pretty dumb when it plays immediately after knocking the opponent onto the bus on that stage.
Not a big deal, but the incongruity looks really sloppy.
there was one commandgrab in the video directly after the normal grab… I doesent look realy special; In fact his normal grab dealt more damage
