NCAA Football 2014 Official Thread *Crab Legs Edition*

The other problem they made for them selves and unfortunately this doesn’t really help TCU is the the committee NEVER should have put florida state at any lower then 3. Somebody was gonna get burned because you used the “eye test” against a undefeated team that are the defending national champions
TCU should’ve had a better look at the 4 spot but eh every team won out… Big 12 needs a championship game

as a TCU alum im a bit disappointed especially since this is the best TCU team ive seen since they won the rose bowl

it couldve gone alot of ways but the committee made its decision i respect the head to head but i do think that TCU was a better team then Baylor

it you really look at it
TCU beat Kansas State much more convincingly then Baylor

Baylor had to stop Texas Tech from completing a two point conversion to beat them

TCU beat them 82 to 27

had a much better out of conference scheldule

looking at them they got better as the season went on

If TCU was undefeated they would be in no question. I think the CFP selection committee just punted on the hard choice and went with conference champions. Still no excuse for the TCU cock tease being #3 the week before though.

Even if TCU was undefeated, they would not have made it in. It is about money and politics now about the best teams.

There’s no way they could ignore a Power 5 undefeated. Especially if there were only two in the field. The money/politics thing comes into play when most contenders are tied.

They have ignored it for 90 ish years, not reason to start paying attention now.

The committee could have easily used the same “no conference title game” excuse if TCU went undefeated. If Notre Dame would have went undefeated, the committee would not have given a damn about a conference title game. Money talks, and TCU and Baylor don’t have that large of a fan base. It hasn’t been that long since TCU was in the MWC and C-USA and Baylor was absolute shit. Having “The” Ohio St. compete with the other big schools will only help in maximizing revenue from these playoffs.

Money and politics? Pshh. The only reason we got in over TCU is because of what we accomplished towards the end of the season. Man yall never wanna give credit where it’s due

Y’all lost to Virginia Tech. VA Tech hasn’t been good in four years. LOL!!!

Clemson isn’t “clemsoning” tonight against Oklahoma. That’s some prison rape they are doing to the Sooners.

Is there a bigger letdown than Oklahoma this season? I want to say Notre Dame but they seem to thrive on letting down their fanbase.

Playoff predictions anyone?

Oregon over Florida State
Bama over Ohio State

Coin flip for natty.

Nick Chubb 2,000+ rushing yards in the 2015 season.

TCU should be in the playoffs B)
I feel like FSU is gonna take it all the way just sneaking past Oregon and sneaking past Alabama

Eh. Sneaking past the likes of Boston College and Miami is one thing. Sneaking past the two winningest teams of the last 6 years or so is another.

Yeah but if Ohio St could win a national title by sneaking by, so can FSU. It’s more like I want FSU to win than making a logical conclusion as to who will be the winner.

Damn, TCU did that too Ole Miss? Yeah, they should have been in over Ohio State.

It’s funny
Albeit on a much larger scale but I used to see lopsided scores like that every Saturday when I was down at TCU a few years back
Go horned frogs! Good shit

RIP Baylor kicker:

I guess FSU ain’t bring enough duck sauce

Wanted Oregon to win, but wanted a closer game than this.
