Yup. They said that given how successful last night was they might start doing them every two weeks. He asked what games to hold them in, I told him to try a Super Street Fighter 4, Tekken 6 OF COURSE and also do one for Blazblue. They would each draw different crowds but you would start to see consistent faces. I also suggested next time that they kill the buy back option and instead make buying an appetizer (which were 50% off anyways) your entry fee. My friend, my girl and I each bought an appetizer and each had some alcoholic beverages and didnt spend more than $30 (they automatically tag on 18% gratuity). I will admit though it was very cool for the semi and grand finals to be played on the super jumbo tron with the entire sound system wired to us.
If nothing else, its an easy way to get rich on gamestop gift cards lol.

I do agree with you Roski that he’ll be somewhere near the top, not necessarily the top character. I do think that if there would be a character who eventually could have a tier to themselves most likely it would be him.

I also agree that Sent will probably be upper tier, but not necessarily tops. That’s exactly what happened with Cable, who also had the most obviously cheesy stuff in the initial weeks. Now solidly #4 for what… 7 years now? Sent and Storm (& to a lesser extent Mag) shenanigans weren’t perfected until years in.
Lastly, I agree with Roski that right now Dante appears to have the biggest overall bag of tricks.
I do have to agree that Dante is probably way up there now. He’s the most Cable-ish character to me in terms of being able to punish people from about 1/2 the screen away to slightly beyond not mention his wide move set along with his mobility.

Damage output aside, its more the fact that he can do damage from that distance is what appeals more to me, that and his bag o tricks. Ammy and from what I saw of Matt’s Deadpool also come to mind about being able to deal good damage from roughly 1/2 the screen away as well.
Just tried online. Not too bad - I was somewhat impressed. I did notice some input lag that took some getting used to.
