Do any of you think MK9 is going to be popular “in the scene” with it being at Evo and everything? I was never into fighters competitively when MK was popular so I don’t know if it’s a big franchise with NC or even the USA or if people just look at it as a joke fighter.

What’s important is it’s being given a chance. I mean… The previous MKs were great, save for vs DC, but competitively weren’t much of anything great.

So if the net code is garbage then how are people that have a hard time going to casuals going to get good? I can play practice mode all day but that only helps with technique but not reaction or reading other people.
Playing people who just use beams won’t help your game either.
Don’t want to steal your squad, but I’ve been trying to build a team around Shulkie and Zero / Taskmaster / Shulkie is a possibility, though it will take another week or 2 to finish training and I may toss one or both of the first 2 before I’m done.

Who from Charlotte is up for the Hotel session on Friday? Driving to Raleigh, playing all night, and then driving back on Sat for the Charlotte tourney is exactly the kind of crazy shit that I really need to start doing again to get my spark back.
