The Charlotte Tekken players also are coming down most likely–I know they’ve been going down the last few years, but I haven’t gotten in contact with them yet. If you are looking to room with the Tekken peeps, I would suggest checking Tekken Zaibatsu.
As far as I know 3 rooms have been reserved for us:
Room #1 Shadowace: Arrive Thursday – Mon Morning
Room #2 Return of Shiki: Arrive Thurs – Mon Morning
Room #3 Darklight: Fri – Sat (???)
If you need a room you need to speak up NOW. This is something that has to be planned in advance. Don’t expect to be able to reserve a room the week before.
My room and car has up 4 spaces for people, including myself. I’m running brackets this year including Marvel pools, which means I’m going to be tired at night, which means I’m going to need a bed and actual sleep, so if you need to party and drink all night please do so in another room. I’m bringing a sleeping bag for anyone who needs it though.
I’ll cover the daily parking fee myself, and if a suite is available and not too far from the ballroom, I may cover the $25 per night charge myself to upgrade our room to Suite because I’m ballin’ like that.

OK so I still need to request time off, but I’ll probably be up for doing Final Round. The only thing is, I probably can’t do the whole let’s-leave-super-early-on-Thursday thing, seeing as I have a class at 5:45PM on that day. Thankfully my Sociology teacher is pretty chill and I do get to request ONE excused absence a semester, so I may yet be able to work something out. I’m also possibly up for driving, assuming I get my car back in traveling shape soon enough.
Brandon, I’m interested in that extra room. Lemme know what’s up.

Update: As of this morning 2-16, when purchasing Marvel vs. Capcom 3 the 25,000 SYWR bonus points will not appear on your receipt. However, the deal is definitely active and the points will post on your account next week due to a system issue we are attempting to resolve. If for some reason your points do not post shoot me a pic of your receipt, mailing address and SYWR reward # and we’ll work it out immediately.
Also, the manager said the same thing, basically that the points post in a week, but if not, keep your receipt and call the number on the back.

Though it’s still unclear if this announcement is for a 360 version, or if it’s an explanation of why there isn’t going to be a 360 version for the US…
