Most recent argument: Remember everyone’s pre-Vanilla SF4 impressions? “Sagat, Rufus and Gief!!! OH-MUH-GAWD GIEF’S SOOO GOOD.” I agree this should DEFINITELY be given more time before drawn to conclusions especially considering the size of the roster and such little exposure it’s had, I’m not for or against saying “Sent is God” right now, but I’m sure he’ll be the first character to be found out how to fuck up.

Buktooth was pretty amazing. I like what I’m seeing with Doom, he’s got some pretty sick loops and shit now. He’d probably do really well with Zero.

Also, I wanna see a good Dormammu player. Everyone just kepts raped with him so far. People need to use fire carpet more.

Also, RE: people dropping Arcana 3 for Marvel, no, that won’t happen for a few reasons. First, people dropped 85+ dollars to get that shit. 2nd, there was no US hype for Arcana 3, since there was no release, so the majority of the people that bought Arcana 3 did so because it was a great game that they intend on playing for a long time. 3rd, the player bases for the games don’t typically intersect; Arcana consists mostly of experienced players who want a game that’s GOOD in the way that games from long ago were, and MVC3 players are just looking to be part of the big game hype that may or may not even be worth it (things I’m reading and hearing from players like the aforementioned holy trinity of MVC2 along with players like Sabre suggest that it leans more towards the “not” side of things). Finally, the online is quite playable, and that by itself is going to keep any game alive.

As far as NC is concerned, I’m gonna keep playing it, and that’s the only person I can speak for.

Already said this earlier, but I’m definitely in on Arcana as well. And I totally agree with what you said.
Even though Marvel I will play with friends/random gatherings, my primary focus is Arcana, and no other game will deter me from that any time soon.

Thanks to all who came through yesterday last night. If you didnt come to at least chill, you missed out. Had a couple special guests come through. Mike Stinemire, Lu, and Eric came for dat Mahvel baybee!!! All around good times were had.

I host now people. Dont have alot of space and working on my seating but dammit if people wanna play some games, im down.
