So I was trying to find out what monitor Alex got by (because he’s sleep and he probably won’t answer his phone later today anyway) searching SRK for his posts and then I just googled and found this:

This deal is today only, I would jump on it. It is very similar to my now out of production TC-P42S1 which averages a little over half a frame of input lag.
The one he’s asking about is the TC-L32X1. I don’t believe either mentioned, the 42G25 or the 42S1, have the same IPS-Alpha panel that makes the 32X1 perform so well.
There is a good chance that the 32G1 (120hz, 2008’s model) and the 32S1 (1080p, 2008’s model) may be as good as the 32X1, but I couldn’t find tests that were as conclusive. Even then, I believe they used different panels for the S1 and G1 models larger than 32 inches, which would suggest that they aren’t as good in terms of handling input lag. You’d probably turn off the 120hz when playing, and 1080p isn’t the native resolution of SF4. The G25 is a sexy looking TV though.

…oh yes! It’s so much fun. the Combos are easy to do, but I can tell the game will be much deeper then that. I can’t wait till I actually get to sink my teeth into the game.

For the phoenix players. Be careful if you’re trying to assist with her, she takes a lot of damage. From playing around yesterday, we managed to kill her when she fell into Deadpool’s super (100%) from an assist (takes extra damage).
