I’d go to the Charlotte tourney but A) Just heard about it now and busy and B) Arcana tourney where only 4 people know their BnBs cause no one has the game sounds bad. I’ll wait for Lucky’s in mid-Feb. I just wish Lucky’s was like 1 week later to give more time for people to learn Marvel, because Lucky’s could possibly be the first big gathering for Marvel and also a tournament if the game doesn’t get leaked. But I know I’ll have 4 days minimum to play that at least, versus my 0 with Arcana tomorrow.

Only place I’m familiar with where game development exist is Raleigh. Epic and a few other studios. Not much else and certainly not as known. Top three locations are Cali, Washington, and Texas. (stateside)

GOOD FUCKING SHIT to everyone who came out last night (which was a lot of fucking people lol). That turned from an impromptu little gathering into a massive conglomeration of SF. Thanks Rick for coming out and putting hands on people. I really needed to learn that fight, and I feel really comfortable against that fat fuck now. Sorry, but I don’t understand this new mindset people have about sitting around for days or even weeks waiting for people become “good” before jumping in and playing the game themselves.
If you’re waiting for everybody else to become top players and master the game before jumping in, you’ll be waiting for a very long time. And then you’ll just be far behind the learning curve.
BnB doesn’t equal top player. Going into a TOURNAMENT not even knowing how to do any of my standard combos sounds like ass. That’s not a new mindset. And that’s kinda tricky to learn on the fly, the good ones anyway. That’s why 9/10 when a new game comes out most people don’t have a gathering day 1, it’s like day 3. The only exception of this I’ve seen is when Super got leaked, cause it the next update of SF4 and cause that was the only way they were gonna play it AND cause it was at someone else’s house.
