IIRC correctly though most of these will still hit after you teleported coz they have hits in all directions, especially Kimmimaru’s as i recall KnJ’ing out of it just to get hit again with the Larches on his back…
Well it depends on his position when you teleport. If you teleport near the start of the move he’ll most likely sail under you whereas if he’s deep into his animation you will probably land above him, but then again you can just block after anyway (I THINK) or just teleport again and punish him on his recovery. Also, during this, nothing can stop you from taking out your support to either tank the damage or get you out of trouble; an option not possible during cinematics since supports get canceled out once the animation starts.
I’m just pissed combo types don’t get guaranteed damage, seems unfair.
Also I hope they actually gave Shikamaru a throw in this game. A counter is not a good substitute for a throw.

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 truly will be the greatest fighting game ever! It’s better than the first,
fair learning curve, yet great mastery to discover too! And great selection, great quality above all that, and fun most of all!

And I meant great learning curve in that it’s not too high (SF3) or too low (Power Stone).
And mastery will definitely surface as players meet online and really show their skills against the best!
Of course I’m not saying its the definitive fighting game but it will be one of the most fun.
So jamming on square / x , assist then baiting a high recovery move and hitting triangle/y + circle is a fair learning curve? Saying that this game even HAS a learning curve isnt fair. In fact a fair statement would be to say that Smash has a higher learning curve than Ultimate Ninja Storm. I truly think that the presentation graphics and even the gameplay to a certain extent is just fluid and its really a good game in its own right. But to think that this was a real honest to goodness tourney level fighter is stupid. Online will be dead in a week and Gamestop will have this as the deal of the week for 24.99 within a month.

Given the way that the demo played, I’ll have to agree with you. This game will be fun with my family and to pull out when drunk with friends, but little else.
i’ma buy this but it’s definitely NOT deep. Its a “fun” fighter for your friends that have trouble with more complex games like SF/Tekken/etc. I think I’ll only end up playing it for a month anyway, since Gran Turismo 5 is dropping soon after.

So this is considered a fighting game? Looks more like an action game or something. I have an old dbz game that looks like it plays pretty much the same. Mash on a button like 5 times and get a 40 hit combo. Lame. Fun for kids that are into the anime I suppose.
