itachi doesn’t need to walk over. He’s got the strongest genjutsu in the manga plus amaterasu. Kakashi’s sharingan has never been close to par with itachi’s. kakashi couldn’t sense the real pain because he wasn’t even in the village. It’s a little different when you place Pein a couple of feet away.

Well, Ki Shima’s scenario was just dumb if he meant all the Pains including his true body in like a cage match lol. Im saying if you put Itachi in Naruto’s position when he was fighting him…Itachi would get raped. I just don’t see Itachi going through massive summons, a guy who eats chakra, puppet guy, soul snatch guy and shinra tensai. I forget hat the others ones did but, you see where im going with this. Even if he tries to run for the real one from locating him somehow…Pain could just do that universal pull nonsense and sit Itachis ass down.

…Itachi was a REAL ninja…he directly confronted Sasuke because it was part of his plan, and he wanted to test him. I highly doubt he’d confront Pein straight up…so in the same instance that Pein hides in a wheelchair in a papermache tree - Itachi would see chakra lines emmiting form the forest and torch the sumbitch…then hide until Pein is forced to show.

Itachi is way smarter than just walking up on the same dude that wiped out an entire battlefield by himself, with some crazy soul eating shit(when he was younger)(and has command of all six paths). Especially, since that same dude was his own leader. He’d better waltz thru the backdoor [ll] and rush that ninja down. That’s if he knew the secret. Without it, he’s getting rolled like everyone else.
nobody but a jinchuuriki or another sharingan user can break out of tsukiyomi, dont get retarded and start making shit up. both jiraiya and 4th wouldn’t stand a chance against itachi for the sole reason that they keep looking into their opponents eyes. this is not possible against a genjutsu god like itachi, especially if he really ants to kill you.
also itachi is probably the only nin besides madara who could take on pain and actually win. what didnt make sense is madara not using genjutsu, does he think hes too good for that shit, or was it actually more like he couldn’t cause he already casted a huge ass genjutsu on the kyuubi? i doubt genjutsu on the kyuubi comes cheap, thats probably some tsukiyomi level shit, i doubt madara could use all of his jutsus. using the genjutsu on the kyuubi must have cost a huge chunk of chakra.
Meh…genjutsu can be broken thru sheer resistance training (this was something brought up WAY earlier with regardsto Sakura…who we’ve never even see do genjutsu). So its nothing more than assumptions that others can’t deal with it. As well, we’ve already seen how speed can peace out the sharrigan, so saying something like “because of genjutsu - ITachi wins”…is a poor way to play theory fighter. Its like saying that because Gief has a hard time jumping over fireballs, he loses to Sakura. There is os much more going on. Hell, the way the 4th worked the seals - it wouldn’t surprise me if he could fuggin seal away somethign like eyesight.
Hell the way he used S/T jutsu - you can’t really take anything for granted.

we aint talking bout some bitch ass genjutsu, tsukiyomi can not be broken out of unless, A you got a sharingan, and a damn good one at that. or B your a jinchuuriki (you possibly even need to be in control of your bijuu like 8t to do this). none of these apply to the 4th, get real unreal.
also dont forget itachi is pretty much a genjutsu god, dude could have you in a normal non MS genjutsu and youd not even notice it. everybody and their mommas know bout itachis genjutsu. also what good is space time ninjutsu when you already looked into the eyes of itachi?
something trivial, itachis 6th sense is boss. dude could feel the change in the air quicker than anybody when he was like 4, even the 3rd felt shit later. dude always knew what was happening, hes pretty much the epitome of being a g, i mean a ninja.
Deidara couldn’t even be put in a genjutsu once his pupil became serious business.
Deidara pretty much trained with the sole purpose of fighting itachi. And lost to his little bother (altho he should have won)

Itachi would murk every nin we’ve seen so far. Dude can point his finger at you and catch you in a genjitsu, has shadow clones seems to have good stam and has invincibility move with a sword that sends you “to another dimension”(In my best vegeta voice) fire that doesn’t stop burning.
Lol your best bet is to use gai’s strategy and look at the ground while fighting him but you’ll prob get caught in a genjitsu by his shadow or the clouds or something.
Pain would slap the shit out of Itachi.
