The whole calling assists whilst im going cray on that ass pisses me off the best thing to do is ninja move cancel then grab to waste there assist or continue your chain into an animation move… and yeah the whole game does turn into who ever loses there subs 1st loses as well but if you sub whilst blocking then you reappear blocking
They probably should have made substitutions recharge from doing something active and aggressive (like combat) rather than needing to run away for X seconds.
Or make you use %25 of your chakra to do it. I think they should have also made calling assit possible during hit stun but not while blocking or in block stun.
So I take it no one here is playing this game anymore? Serves me right for waiting for it to be $25 at gamestop. Anywho, I’ve got a few questions if anyone is willing to answer them. I’ve been doing some seraching and I haven’t been able to find anything on this for a while now. But does anyone have a list of teams where you get support bonuses? I remember reading that if you have particular teams put together, the support guage charges faster, I just can’t for the life of me find that list. I keep hearing about spamming PTS Ten Ten, what is that all about? One last thing, is there a list or video that goes into some kind of detail about what jutsu’s support character will do when you pick atttack, defense or balanced?
Still no activity in here? Are you all waiting for the new game? I do like the fact that assist can be killed now. I don’t like how more than half the cast was replaced to add 4 new characters. I guess generations is more of a dream match game than a canon game. Anywho, I found the answer to some of my questions. You can’t control what Jutsu or attack the character you choose as an assist will do, it’s always the same no matter what you choose. The only difference between each assist type are as follows. These features take affect after support drive is active.
Attack- The assist character will join you in an attempt to melee attack the opponent while you are doing the same. They will also hit an opponent towards you if you do a powerful attack that knocks them away from you. If you have both assist set to attack, you have the potential do some serious damage. So if you do this the right way and of course this is after you’ve baited all of their KNJ’s. You could do a long as chakra cancle combo, hit them away and your assist will return them to you, do a regular combo and hit them away again to be returned one last time by your assist and either do a regular combo or ultimate team jutsu.
Guard- The assist character will attempt to guard you while your charging cakra. I personally don’t think this assist is very effective, but whatever. What I do like about it is that it helps to charge your support drive guage faster which gives you access to the ultimate team jutsu attack.
Balance- The assist character will throw shurikens or chakra churikens when you do. They will also take an ultimate jutusu in your place. I haven’t seen that happen yet, but it sounds like a good thing.
