Yeah, I mean if you’re going to run ST, it is what it is I suppose… I mean I’ll be there, but I’d have to borrow a dreamcast stick for sure… of course playing on PS3 means I have to borrow a stick as well…
If you’re interested, we could probably run a HDR 2v2 side tourney or something as well… I’ll have to talk to some of the HDR people and see what kind of travelling committment I can get on that.
Oh and yeah Akuma needs to be banned in any version of SF2
yes a hdr 2v2 or singles tourny would be fine too since it is the evo game now.

I’d be playing Dee Jay. I’ll know for sure whether I’m coming in January. Should I be able to come, I’ll be able to bring a 360 + SSF4/HDR.
If 3s is ran it should be teams. That’s the hype way. 2v2 pokemon style.

you’re the 2nd person to mention it. i’m flattered. :lovin: um… honestly i think just this once i’m going to wait a bit to see if i can convince a long-time friend of mine, Crono, to attend. if he’s coming then i’ll team up with him since i can’t recall ever teaming with him for anything. well that or if he comes but wants to team with someone else, you just never know.

for the ST tourney, since it is running on dreamcast and a lot of people would not have DC stick, are you going to provide loaner stick?
If not, then it’s a hard sell because even people want to enter they won’t be able to if they don’t have DC stick.
If you don’t have sticks as loaner, you can consider running ST on Xbox360 or PS3 in HD classic mode with classic sprites + 4:3 ratio.
The HD classic mode on Xbox360/PS3 used the same code base as the dreamcast one.
DC isn’t finalized or anything… but as the suggestions are coming in apparently classic mode for HDR is apparently interchangable with ST and easier to get a hold of… what does everyone think of that…?
I am in agreement on running ST in Classic Mode on 360. The SF2 crowd I’m sure would bring plenty of 360s and TVs and we’d just hang out in our own little corner all day.
What console is the low-tier mvc2 tourney gonna be on? Or is there an arcade cab there?
