Yeah, how is this going to be released exactly, and what requirements will be needed? All I have are non modded or chipped Japanese and US PS2s.

Also, the word on NxC in this thread isn’t helping. I guess this was just a game riding on it’s concept of having crossover characters.
Most PS2 translations (FM5 comes to mind) require that you rip the ISO from an actual copy of the game, apply the patch, then burn it back on to a disc. I figure this will be the same.
So yes, you will need a modded PS2 or Swap magic to play this.

We’re using a patch installer atm which is just a 1MB (maybe smaller) patch that you can add with the .iso so there wont be any need for downloading the game again if you already have it.

Seriously, the game isn’t very good at all.
Don’t forget that there’s the emulator, PCSX2, which is actually pretty decent nowadays. If you see the video that they have on their website, that’s what they’re using to play it.
I enjoyed the game myself and yeah I just used the same translation while playing through, that was enough for me…
I hope Mneidengard can work on a translation for Reiji and Xia Mu’s next video game appearance. It’s for the Nintendo DS so it’s region free!

hmmm so I’ll need to download the game? Or will it actually have a release somewhere I can purchase it? When its all said and done if its a download thing post up the torrent here.
I’d much rather have Super Robot Wars MX and Alpha 3 translated at this point. I’ve lost interest in this game for some reason. 
finshed this game a long time ago…to tell u the truth the game wanst hard at all, even without having knowledge of japanese…it gets repettitive and gets boring quickly. one thing i didnt like about the game is that because there are parts in the game that are character specific, a lot of your roster gets neglected
this game sucks balls
the game got boring cuz its a strategy videogame, i only play srw cuz I like the fight cinematics, just like in this game, but for the story I could care less…
Best parts about this game are the intro and soundtrack. If you haven’t played it, you ain’t missing anything.
