Mike Z. is god-father 3S. I’ve never seen Makoto played that well in my entire 3S time. TJ has Chun on lock. And Mike is Mr. Flash Yun.

Maobei (Mo-bey) is awesome. Stefan (St-e’-fan) has jokes that are funny!!! Wes = dictator and A-grove master :karate: ! Frank punishes you more than a grade teacher on a bad day (I have to learn OTG). And that Webster kid…is still black.

Mike Z. Thank-you for comin by. It really was nice to meet you. Not only are you good at STF-whatever, but you strike me as an awesome individual. Not many people are like that, they just allow thier greatness in games be just that, and suck in life!

you just tended to do weird moves over and over and i eventually was able to parry it by guessing when you’d probably send it out again. i do the same thing since Rob and Mike(s) tell me i’m predictable :stuck_out_tongue:
the biggest thing is your fascination with special moves… some characters in these here games are pokey pokey. like your Sean wasn’t too shoto-ey… it was more Maobei-ey style… where you’d use more special moves than you should and get into weird situations involving you getting your life reduced in half because you use the AWESOME KICK (i agree with your usage of his flip-overhead-thingy kick… it’s the best thing in the game) :stuck_out_tongue:

so just use his normal moves a bit more (that applies to your other chars as well, like Yun and rush-punching)… i’m pretty sure Sean’s d.mk is just like all gay-shoto d.mk’s… where it’s retardedly good… so use that at random. same with the d.mp, they’re just retardedly good for super-cancels since you get about 923893284739847 years to react and cancel. i also know for a fact that Remy’s s.mk and d.mp and s.hk(far) are really good moves. i think his s.hp(far) is also really good. i’m not sure since i suck with Remy and i suck at fighting games now, with all those circuits raping me every chance they get.

and as far as Mike Z’s Makoto or TJ’s Chunli being good… i think it’s not so much the user so much as the broken character being good heheh :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m just curious, was the extreme and overabundant hostility toward 3d games because Mike Z was there?

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Bmike so angry because a game that wasn’t 3S or #R was going to be played :-o

I hope this was just an isolated incident, because I felt like I was back with the Tekken people for a few minutes, where my ideas and opinions were just ignored simply because I was the expressive minority.

Other than that, it was a fun time.

First and foremost, congrats Mike and Sako, I are happy for the two of you.

Was cool that Wes could show up, maybe he could make it a bi-weekly or monthly thing, eh? You (if you ever check here) should pick up GGXX. It seems really crazy and abstract at first, but you get used to it.

That was a fun 1 game in SC2, Webster. You honestly should have had me, it was luck that I managed to get those rounds on you, especially the last hit.

Dinner was kinda Tekken. The ammount of food I got for the money left a lot to be desired, and I think I had like 12 fries total :-o Oh well.

Probably wont be playing for a while now though, this weekend was a special occasion, but we’ll see.

I’m pretty sure that bMike got anti-3d simply because Mike Z was there. He wanted to get as much use out of the PS2 with Mike Z playing as he could. I don’t think he has anything against playing 3d games in his presence, it’s just that it was taking up time on the PS2 (system with the best games) and on the big TV. I would think that if Webster’s PS2 was also operational and you guys wanted to play on the Daewoo, he’d have been fine with it.

Oh and dinner…the food was mediocre at best. My chicken and ribs were dry. The only thing that was good was the malt (yummy!). I’d never tried that place before, and knowing how the food is now, I’d choose somewhere else. However, it was nice to have some “regular” time with the SF group.

and yeah… that 50’s grill, big Mike… yeah… if that waitress weren’t 12, i’da walked out much earlier. and there was that one lady who looked like that one girl from the Breakfast Club… the one Emilio Estavez boinks in the end… her… yeah. she wasn’t young enough. Webster ordered the best burger, though, and all the sub-par food suddenly became worth it ^_~

but yes. i do agree with Rob on that bit… what lil’ Mike said was kinda extreme. i mean, they were waiting to play each other for quite some time and you gave them 10 seconds before you started yelling about it… you coulda given them like 10 rounds like you did with ex-lax3 or cf-gay
but. that’s in the past for now, and we all hate you just as much as we hated you before, with no new hate attached… i think. so you’re all good ^_~

Nice to see you all again / meet you for the first time, where appropriate. CFE is crap. Tekken and SC are also crap, but I realize some may not agree. And yeah, I think it was mostly that if you guys wanted to play on the Daewoo, fine, but ye weren’t even showing off something everyone might want to see (hence EX3 went out the door in 5 min), it was just normal bleh playing, on the big TV, taking up valuable 3s time. :^)
You are all great dudes, with the exception of The Wife who is not a dude but who can chocolate-chip a mean brownie/cake thing (and The Baby whom is too cute for her own good). Shame I’m having fewer and fewer incentives to come back each time…
S’not so much that I dislike 3D games, just that I dislike those with poor execution, which so far is all of 'em. :^) (Sad that MKD has a better control system than SC.) You’re free to like 'em, just don’t force me to watch.

I thought the movement in MKD was choppy and irritating compared to SC2.

Personal opinion, out of the 3 “major” 3d games, I’d rate the movement as follows

Best to Worst

SC2 > VF4 > T4

I’d probably put MKD equal or MAYBE slightly higher than T4, but that’s all my view.

I understand the ‘need’ to use the big TV to take advantage of the Z-play time, but no one was using it, and both Mikes were busy doing other things, in fact I remember Bmike quitting the game he was playing simply to take the PS2 away from Webster and I :-o

But, it’s all in the past, as was mentioned, I don’t hold anything against any of you, I understand the situations and stuff, just wanted to get that out there.

Honestly, this was a MikeZ 2D gathering and I wanted to capture as much 2D gaming as I could. Slapping in SC2 on the BIG TV (which was taping) made no sense to me at all. Especially since I went through so much effort to have plenty of tape to record 2D on. Any other time I could have given a shit but how often does Mike come here to play? MikeZ>SC2 sorry.

Mad love to all for making it out. I only like the 50’s grille for the chicks and malts. YUM.

Charging Hayate is dope and fucked up all at the same time. Thanks for destroying wake up games with Tanden RIKI. Wish we could have played more.

On a side note… I’m returning CFE and getting MGS3. So sad… i’ve never returned a capcom game. :sad:
