Hey I am looking to get my hands on a Myoungshin Fanta stick is there any sort of retailer for one besides the out of stock Etokki one that I am not catching?
Thanks, Corey.
It looks like the green ones are in stock at etokki.
I don’t know of any other English sites that sell them, but you could always try the Trading Outlet here.
That’s what I was thinking, Thanks for the heads up.
Corey.
I think focus attack may have them. No never mind I’m thinking Of the crown stick.
Paradise Arcade Shop and Focus Attack sells the Crown Korean joystick.
No one in the US carries Myoungshin Fanta … yet.

I doubt they’ll carry the Fanta unless they make some changes to it to fit the Japanese-style cases.
The market for these joysticks, let alone the Crown line, just isn’t that big outside of Asia and I think many people get scared off by the thought they’ll have to rip up cases to fit these parts. The modding community isn’t THAT big and most people are on tight budgets as it is!
I seriously thought about getting a Crown CWJ-303A/FK whatever they’re calling the version modded for Japanese cases. It just seems like there are too many red flags about quality of construction and issues with the stock joystick’s performance. It’s partly like the issues I had with the JLF but it’s easy to sell the JLF (OR the LS-32) if you don’t like it.
I like doing some mods to joysticks when I get them but it’s just too much of a bother to put most Korean levers into Japanese cases. Reworking Agetec/Dreamcast Arcade stick cases to fit modern parts was enough to cure me of the notion of doing something as extensive or worse than those mods!
The Fanta on the surface at least sounds like the best Korean standard but it’s just not made to be compatible with the majority of joystick cases out there which happen to be made to Japanese specs.
The same thing will be encountered if you like the Happ/iL parts which I don’t particularly care for based on past experiences…
***** If you’re not in the market to buy Japanese-spec parts, you’re going to end up having to buy/build a custom-built joystick case. Nothing Hori or Mad Catz sells now is made for non-Japanese parts out of the gate. You’ll have to do so much retooling, Dremeling, etc., etc. of those joysticks case that it just defeats the purpose… *****
