Going to have to be quite a bit, canât use his full power SMASH punches anymore and Bakugou will probably be able to handle his just emerging kick skills. I really canât see anyone but Bakugou winning this, after being kidnapped and failing the exam, I feel he will need a win (even if just the moral victory) to keep him interesting.
Bakugou is one of those insecure and annoying little shitstain that always have something to prove, always meddling in Midoriyaâs business.
I actually think that he needs to lose, just so this motherfucker gets a really needed dose of ârealityâ.
He needs to hit the rock bottom so he can finally start learning and improving as a character.

Improving as a character via beat down by the main character is more boring then emotion based power ups in the middle of a fight. Bakugouâs jerk, he was raised by a jerk (his mom) and should remain just the right balance of jerk and hero even at the end. Him mellowing out or openly respecting âDekuâ or the others would make him as boring as a side character besides having a cool power. Let the fictional jerks stay jerks, we already have too many atoners in this manga as supporting characters.
