I really really really hope that the author doesnt drag the midoriya x ochako thing, it would be really nice to have a shonen with some romance developed on it.

I gave this a shot last year and loved it. I am pulling for old girl since she is crushing hard but also feel I should be wary as this creator isn’t afraid to play the conventions and then switch them up at the end. That last arc in particular had death flags all over it yet we saw how it ended, wouldn’t be surprised if they switch it so it isn’t that Ochako has a crush on Deku but to wanting to be a rival in terms of prowess or the crush is on someone else but Deku somehow elicits feelings from her due to their friendship, fuck it I don’t know.
I like romance in my fiction when done well so I hope that is the case here but I mainly do just want to see people get hit. More so then the shipping stuff, I hope gravity girl gets to step her shit up in regards to that because outside of some fight training her power seems on par with invisible girl in effectiveness without someone telling her what to do.

What I find funny about this series is Bakugo. At first I thought they would run down the Naruto and Sasuke path yet again. However Horikoshi has shown that Baku is determined to be a hero through and through (even if the boy is insane). I’m pretty damn happy about that. I don’t know if I could of stomached another NaruSasu ordeal.
