After about a year of GGPO on a regular basis. Pretty much since the last ST qualifier except during the GGPO outage :( I am planning on coming out to this. I can make it out there just fine but I was wondering if anyone had any space in their room so that I can be rested for the tournament on Saturday? I came last year fueled on Red Bull but after a 6 hour car ride I was in no condition to play. This year I plan on leaving Charlotte on Friday morning and getting to the spot a day prior to. In order to be rested and sound of mind. I am a long time player that is still passionate about ST as the day I first started playing it. I don't bring any drama and generally a fun guy to be around. Just ask DreamTR about the first time we met offline in chaga at Nickel City. PM me if you have any room. I hope to fare better this year than last. See you on GGPO. Will ST be setup for casuals on Friday? I can help with whatever is needed except for running brackets. That shit is for the birds. :PYa I can vouch for Jim (Rekka Ken) so if any of the MId TN players have any room, please help

This field for SBO qualifiers is going to be so, so wide open and I’m going to enjoy watching as much as I can.
Damdai should qualify again me thinks, but yeah, it’s going to be pretty wide open. Sometimes I wonder if we type here and anyone even sees us, LOL
Jason do you know if damdai is even playing SSFIV casually? I would love to play him again.
Damdai has been dominating the EC tournaments. So I guess he’ll definitely qualify given 3 chances.
The other candidates would be marsgatti / john rambo / stevetren.
Too bad the west coast top players will not be attending (afro legends / DGV etc)
Will there be stream? If not, is DSP going to take footage of the 3 tournaments?

no stream. People have to come and watch this in person. Steve Tren is not coming. Dunno about DSP, I think he is.
Just made an account, and I’m a little scared that Shoryuken somehow knew what I wanted for my avatar. But whatever. I’ll be attending MWC for Blazblue, MvC3, Melee (which I’m going to get raped in), Arcana Heart (maybe), and the Mystery Game. Less than one week away. Hype get. But let me go ahead and mention what I came here for.
I’ll be bringing a recording setup. I currently plan on recording and editing Blazblue, MvC3, Arcana Heart, and the Mystery Game (not Melee). For the remaining games, if any of you want them recorded, I don’t mind you making use of my computer and recording device. All I ask is that you bring an external hard drive. In addition, if any of you plan to do so for the purpose of editing and uploading a particular game, LET ME KNOW. You’ll be given recording priority over everyone else for that particular game. Reply here, shoot me a PM/e-mail or whatever, I don’t care as long as it gets to me.
Oh how can I forget our norcal represent fudd, who just placed 3rd in NCR st tournament (1st - daigo, 2nd valle)
I guess rambo and fudd will fight for the sim spot.
Hopefully someone will record the footage.
I’m probably gonna be out there for all three days so I might bring my recording equipment.
Jackie & Doro, I may be wrong, but I think that Street Fighter games are going to be on cabinets, which aren’t really recordable with the equipment we have.

Ah, I hadn’t thought about that. Does anyone know what kind of cables the cabinets use for audio/video? My capture card actually has Opt In/Out, but I don’t know what all uses that. If it’s not Composite, Cable, or the aforementioned, I won’t be able to record. Sorry for not mentioning sooner guys.

VGA, I believe. You can’t really record off of them easily, i’ve already looked into it. Er, by easily I mean, get in and hook everything up and take it out quickly.

The finals of all games should be recorded in some way. I don’t expect it to happen, but I would prefer it.
