Actually what I’m saying is that when you addf and hit :h:, super jump right afterwards. MegamanDS has a tutorial video on how to do it precisely.
here it is if you don’t feel like looking:
(I linked you to the exact spot on the video where you do the combo)
I’m willing to figure some of it out. I have a lot of time and a lot of weed on my hands.
Ok still working out this aerial exchange combo. Got the whole thing down but, at the end, when I input the command for unfly, then hit the last :h:, a hyper grav comes out (wtf). The System is still reading my :d::db: motion when i input :h:… I’ll keep working on this and i’ll read through the posts to see if I can find anything, but i’m having a hard time with it now… any tips?
EDIT - nevermind. literally right after i hit send, i tried it again and it worked. My inputs weren’t crisp enough i guess… lol. back to the lab…
argh i cant sj after the addf my guy just stands there ill either get a 3 hit combo n i wont b able to sj after wards if i go launch H addf i cant seem to hit the dummy no matter how fast im pressing it soemtimes nothing will come out but i hear the sound of the H atk n sometimes i can get a s.H in but i wontb able to sj but i can launch after the s.H tho -_- soemoen help plzzz
Can someone give me some tips on the hyper grav loop? Specifically regarding the sj ADDF j.H s.H xx L hyper grav (the actual loop part). The sj ADDF part seems to be the biggest issue. Is there a specific height you want to reach so that the two hits (j.H s.H) guarantee the opponent is high enough to be caught by hyper grav?
When attempting the loop the 2 things to keep in mind is to super jump instantly after the Grav connects and to get a tad bit of height when you super jump, so that when you go to air dash foward/down you can connect the H. Here’s a vid of mine showing an example
You can actually SJ straight up / up back / or up foward. You can even normal jump it back but its harder and you won’t get much mileage out of that one.
I’m sorry I’m new to magneto so I have some questions.
Which loop is the best to learn?
I saw a guy online do the Fly Airdash loop thing and he finished with air dash a.S then Triangle jumped over me to Shockwave in the reverse direction. Is this key or was this just for show?
Here is how I have been doing my rom (sometimes i can get it). I do my ground magic series, launch. Then I do my J.H as soon as magnetos feet pass the opponents feet, I then Air dash down forward as soon as possible then J.H. I wait just a little bit so mags touches the ground and then I super jump up back J.H air dash down forward J.H repeat.
Any tips?
This is exactly how I do it. If I am missing some small key element dont hesitate to tell me!
Thank you ahead of time.
lmao yeah i played this shit for probably 30 hours this weekend in the lab (ALL MAGNUS) plus first to 200 with by best friend who plays a nasty hulk/wesker/spencer/captain/dormammu mix for good measure. I won though lol. not by much… like 193-200. Took us almost all day saturday lol.
I’ve also been cooking up some good shit. I think i might have some new stuff but i’m still researching to make sure that no one brought this stuff out. If so, i may have to go deeper to come up with something original (which sucks cause it probably means its character or team specific…). Good looks though, man you guys really helped me out so i’m looking to return the favor somehow.
I’m super jump straight up, Then air dash F/D. You can do it by super jumping U/B and air dashing F/D , You can use whichever. I just find it easier to S/J straight up.
Hi so Ive been playing magneto since day 1 and I have just been doing my own combos im pretty good at execution so what is the most reasonable corner loop and midscreen loop to learn? I want the best damage but also a combo thats not like Jwong status.
