Sp00ky was talking about Chun being able to cancel sweep and lightning legs into an IAD. I could be wrong about Amaterasu though if her moves just recovered absurdly fast.

So the Master of Magnet is back. His moves look really awesome.

Glad to see Mags is coming back. Hopefully they won’t nerf him too hard for his MvC3 appearance. I worry about his speed more than his combos; if they smack his super-speed high-low game too hard (no doubt in conjunction with the removal or reduction-to-loops of his various infinites) he’s gonna need some potent new combo/reset gimmicks to pick up the slack. He just won’t be the same Mags we know and love without being ridculously goddamn fast.

ROM will probably be gone, but hopefully they’ll preserve stuff like the five-fierce combo (hopefully by retaining the speed of his air dashes). With the way OTGs work in Marvel 3, maybe this will mean some kind of resurgence for combos into Magnetic Shockwave?

I’m sure he won’t be MvC2 Mag but at the same time he definitely will be way better than MSH Magneto.

I agree. I love the Vs series to the death and the gameplay. But right now, I’m in full-on fanboy mode and MvC3 is, more or less, a new game with a new system.

Hearing people get hype for the possibility of old god-tier MvC2-centric gameplay shit in this new game system with different air-dash and flying screen mechanics seems weird and misplaced, especially considering that his fanboy iconic powers (floating in a bubble and throwing metal shit) were lost by MvC2. Why not get hype over the possibility of bubble rush down? Doom rocks into tire rims?

I guess what I’m trying to say is Magneto needs to be hurling rims at people.
