I think it works with any assist but didnt get to test enough yet . Ultimately , ill try to set this up with Magneto alone with his magnetic blast.
I just got it to work with Wolverine-Y and Akuma-B and those definitely aren’t projectile, so it’s probably all assists. Can’t think of a way to test it with magnetic blast though.
how do you continue to wave dash with magneto while in fly mode? I saw a video of james chen saying “plinking”…

the way i do it is after fly:
up forward LMH downforward LMH repeat. it looks like magneto is bouncing around if you’re doing it right
@alioune: man i’m trying so hard to do that with magneto alone, but every time i attempt it on a neutral jump, or jumping in, a standing heavy comes out.
I’m doing it out with Dash/fierce(grab) os now , and switched doom’s beam for molecular shield .
If you didn’t know Magnus can jump over his own Hyper Grav well now you know, and if you did know well sorry for wasting 10-15 seconds of your life.
So at the start of matches, I typically s.H + wolvie assist or a fast j.H if I suspect a jump. Works great against everyone but Hulk. Guaranteed Hulk is mashing s.H. I might get lucky and throw him, but usually ends up with Happy Birthday for opponent because of Hulk armor. Jumping away usually results in being air thrown. Backing away prior to match start is an option, but it’s emasculating ): Any suggestions?

You could just back off a little bit right before the match begins and let him throw out the :h:. You block it, it’s horribly unsafe, so punish it hard. Most hulks I’ve seen don’t yet have the technology to make their normals that they just randomly throw out even remotely safe.
Yeah that’s what I’ve been going for. The timing is a bit tricky because Hulks are always advancing. I also tried timing a jump so that I’m not quite landed when the round starts. Not a big deal, I’m sure I can figure out the timing. But thanks, I’ll focus on looking for a punish instead of going for blood right out of the gate.
Oh and I finally incorporated a DHC glitch into my game (Mags into Wolvie)… JEEEEZUS, that’s some sick damage. Shoutouts to everyone crying on XBL yesterday!
Another thing… I’d like to segue form my BnB into a hypergrav DHC setup. I use the fly, (j.M, j.H, ADF) x3 combo. I’m working on unflying in the corner after third rep, and then j.H, s.H into Hypergrav. I’ve only seen it done in the air dash BnB, and the (H, ADF) x4 fly combo, but it seems to work. I’m figuring out the variables as far as speed, weight, number of reps, but I would appreciate any pointers to consistently pull this off.

Mix it up. When you start punishing, the Hulk player probably won’t be doing it very much longer… that’s when you go straight for the throw, when you have him afraid to try teching it.
As far as fly loops into hyper swag corner combos, hitstun deterioration has kicked in to the point that you probably won’t be able to get more than a few reps. A few reps is usually more than enough if you were going for the meter anyway
I’ve been trying recently to replace Sentinel on my Mags/Sentinel/Wesker team with Amaterasu, can you post the notation for the first DHC glitch after the tempest?
That is correct except im using Medium hyper grav to ensure it connects then i switch to light
Hard hyper grav comes out fast enough too, you can grab characters from quite far with samurai edge.
