I’m right there with you. It sucks that they made his force field special into a mere counter. Change that into something useful, give him some new level 1 specials, and make magnetic tempest into a ridiculously badass-looking level 3 hyper that is more true to his character than the MvC2 version.

In one of the S-Kill demos of Wesker (I think the one on GamesRadar’s Youtube channel), S-Kill calls Dante’s AA assist while teleporting to the other side with Wesker, then stands there for like 2 seconds until the assist finishes all its hits and launches the opponent back toward Wesker, and only then does he hit him with Wesker again into a launch combo.
So yes, basically.

Magneto is a pretty iconic character… he was popular for a long time before MvC2!
The fact that he’s one of the most awesome things ever is sort of a given. It’s like bringing up that Wolverine has claws or that people breathe air.
