Does Magneto’s hyper grav look useless now? It seemed to come out too slow to be of any use.
mags looks and sounds stupid. voice is whack. cape is so lame and lackluster, not dynamic like 2’s.
that said, gameplay looks tight, and combos should be awesome. shockwave>KFC>dash>laucher>double magic series>air tag to ryu>magic series>shinkuu hadoken>DHC doom photon array?

That voice is horrible. He’s accent is odd and just bad. He sounds like a softy. You think maggy is a wuss when you hear his voice.

yeah there definitely needs to be some tweaks to his look (likely) and his voice (not likely). classic mags voice is great. this new voice is not. I like what they were trying, but they didn’t quite get it right. both the voice and what he says : /

i wouldn’t even say fat. more like some sort of goo in a casing. maybe like a stretch armstrong character or something. lumpy. sack of potatoes? iunno. but even if he still looked like shit and still sounded dumb, if he is close to interesting as mvc2 mags I’ll still fuck around with him
I don’t think his character model is finished yet, he has no definition what so ever and like everybody else said looks like a pink fat ass 
but when the final version is hopefully that will be taken care off, and his voice I’m still 50-50 on the subject maybe it might grow on me or I might really hate it and wind up with the Japanese voices. I wouldn’t mind this Magneto voice tho

God I can’t believe people are hating on Tom Kane’s VAing. He’s a fantastic Magneto. The guy from MvC2 was only good, in my opinion, at playing at Magneto’s sinister, malicious side. Pretty much just hissed everything.
Tom Kane can do sinister, but also carry the tone of a guy who is only looking out for the well being of his people… even if his methods are extreme. I dunno, it’s just discouraging to me to hear people hating on his VA, when the guy has over like… 20 years of voice acting experience. I swear to you, if Tom Kane decided to say “Playtime has ended” in MvC3, it would sound just as good, if not better than his MvC2 VA.

Man yall are really trippin on Mags voice. I love Tom Kane’s Magneto, loved it in Wolverine and The X-men too. MvC2 Mag’s voice was nice but he didn’t really sound like what Magneto should sound like.

That voice is perfect for Magneto. That’s pretty much exactly how he sounds in every piece of Marvel media except MVC2. Which, if you only know the character from MVC2, is understandably probably a little weird.
