Might as well post Chun-Li’s info from the topic Kanta created:
Chun-Li:
Can Jump cancel (non super, regular JC) out of both sweep and regular Heavy Punch on block
Hyakuretsu is fairly similar to the way it was in TvC. If you stop it right away you can follow up with dash-in combos (juggles) or IAD combos. Couldn’t check for j.C strings though, sorry guys.
Hyakuretsu as an assist is bloody incredible. Even if the enemy doesn’t get hit and just blocks, none of them get pushed away so it’s incredible for pressuring, blockstrings and even chip-damage. Pushguarding probably makes it kind of useless but Kanta forgot about it, and you just ask him the crap I pulled with it in our last few games
One way to combo into her lvl3 (which isn’t an aerial super) is Kikoushou -> X-Factor -> lvl3. It’s a bit too costy and probably not worth it but I was just looking to be flashy when I did it. It’s a DP motion and it kind of looked like Tensei Ranka but better.
Kikouken never crumpled at all in any ocasion. Hitstun may be enough to link with a combo after it depending on spacing but it’s probably impractical and requires further testing.
Huh, strange. I figured with all of the chanting about Chun-Li being the best character (even in the 30 character build!) that this topic would be a lot more active, especially with the love over Chun-Li’s Hyakuretsukyaku Assist. I’m kind of looking forward to it myself.
Question for TvC players: Do you miss Chun-Li’s raging level 3? Seeing Chun-Li’s air combat in this game, I kind of miss it, but then again I haven’t really seen anyone land the level 3 so I’m not sure which one is better overall.
Alot of players have been saying this since Chicago fight club. Split consensus between Trish or Chun from previous builds. I would not be surprised at all if Chun is the best in the final build. That X-factor Chun is just ridiculous.
Not that it means anything but when Justin Wong said Trish was the best character in the TGS build maybe not so much anymore I think he might have had a point.
But it comboed though, unless somehow if the first hit of a combo is a CH, that would be a weird property to have, different strength button maybe or a hidden command?
