I played a lot of Trish when the game came out, then gravitated to other characters. I started using her again the other day and was like “Oh yeah, I really like this bitch.” But before I wasn’t running away a whole lot, and now it seems she’s reeeeally good at it. So I was wondering what some of her best runaway sequences are. I mean I know sj back or double jump back and various traps and maybe flight are involved, but are there any specific sequences of these moves that keep her up in the air the longest? Thanks!

Round trip in the air is good. Prevents people like Magneto from jumping up to disruptor. There’s no specific sequence, mostly it’s jump, do something like round trip, fly, rain some low voltages.

Hey what do you guys think of running trish on anchor. I usually run her on point but sometimes I switch her out and leave her till last. She is really fast and deals alot of dmg in xf lvl 3. Would she be better as anchor or on point?. I don like her in the middle because I tend to zone with her and stall so if I am behind in characters then I feel like its more like their win

Trish is really good as an anchor.
I play her in every position but her main goal in my team is anchor.

Point because she can easily build 2 bars and score a random hit > dhc glitch…
2nd because DHC into round harvest> follow up combo is sick and random divekick>dhc glitch is godlike.
Anchor because if she does her job as point and 2nd successfully, this is where she ends up and she’s really dangerous, can deal tons of damage and chip, hard as hell to block.

Thats what I usually do. I find that shes really good for setting up other characters with her round harvest. Like for viper ill corner them with trish and then round harvest and tag in viper for that setup. I run ironman next so Ill round harvest and then setup traps and call in ironman. But her assists also dont seem that good. I sometimes catch them with peek-a-boo but its very rare.

Low voltage is good for characters with teleports and command dashes. It’s like a beam assist, except it doesn’t scale and doesn’t knock down. It’s a bit slow though.

Peek-a-boo is very good for resets. Peekaboo> OTG> Wavedash left and right is really hard to block.

Haven’t found a use yet for hopscotch assist.

Hopscotch is decent. I use peekaboo for resets too and sometimes I just place them in a middle of a block screen. Hopscotch seems like it would be really good im just not using it properly. Whenever I use it though people forget about it and then when they launch me sometimes hopscotch stops them from continuing the combo. =)

I still personally think her low voltage assist

Not many people play her. A lot of trish players are outdated on her tech though. I still haven’t seen a single person use her DHC trick on streams.

Also Calisweeper, do you use unibeam for iron man even though you are using low voltage for trish. (as assists).

Yea I still use unibeam for iron man, mostly for wesker because with unibeam and a low voltage combo I gain two meters and do about 570k using no meters

@Nini Yea her DHC trish isn’t really that useful, I think you should look at the ReveLAtions stream archive because I heard Keits does the DHC trick with her but not sure

o i see. have u tried the two traps. im thinking peek-a-boo might work but not too sure. but damn thats impressive 570k for no meter. what kinda setups do you ahve with trish and iron man. I use those two but I mainly just use unibeam for trish to help her get in and to counter other beams.

Why is it not useful? I can get 1m-1.3 M with the 3 DHC glitch ender characters I use with Trish. They all build enough meter for the super ender to kill the 1.2m crew and it’s not even necessary on 3/4 of the cast. With wesker I end up with 950k and the same amount of meter I had before DHC glitching(2+) and a 50/50 reset if I decide I want to hoard meter.

I was considering Trish’s DHC glitch start combos recently with Wesker and here’s what I was finding:

Standard Trish relaunch combo into Wesker OTG Shot -> Round Harvest, super jump normals Low Voltage Max Voltage can start off about 0.8 meters, builds up to the 2 it needs, and does about 830k damage. Pros are that you have access to it from the start of the round, isn’t team order or character dependent other than the OTG assist. It can be any OTG assist really, even stuff like Hidden Missiles works. Can DHC further if you have the meter, though you have to “catch” them on the fall of the Max Voltage, which isn’t hard, but it is character specific.

Trish Peekaboo DHC Glitch into Wesker Counter. Needs 1.7 meters to start. Trish builds 0.3, then Wesker builds another 1.5 or so. Does about 850-900k damage if you don’t end in super. Does about 1,000,000 with super, which can be DHC’d further if you had 2.5+ meters to start. It is team order dependent.

So both combos seem useful and just depends on your meter situation compared to their remaining health.

Also I would like to try a combo where you just do a regular Trish combo into some assist that lets you Round Harvest, then raw tag to Dante for his finisher of Teleport j.:s:, Cold Shower, Stinger, j.:s:, Volcano Beehive Volcano Beehive Super if needed. I’m guessing that would do 800k+ for only one meter with the option to go to 1,000,000+ with 2?

O nice. if you dont mind can you tell us which characters you use. I used trish and amaterasu but I wasnt getting much damage.

Dante/Zero/Wesker and Phoenix/Tron as well but I don’t really use the DHC glitch with them lol. Pretty sure ammy can get some heavy damage with the sword loops.

Zero’s 5S>J.M>236H loop ending with J.MM>J.H>J.S>Assist>Dive>J.Buster>Lightning>Dive>Dive or Rekkoha. Deals very heavy damage and can end with a reset into airthrow with the dive if you wanna save meter

Dante I just do Million Carats>Volcano>J.H>Airplay>J.H>5S>J.H>J.623S>Assist Extender>Volcano>J.S>Cold Shower>Stinger>J.S>Assist Extender>Volcano>J.S>Volcano> Beehive> 6C> BC Jetstream>Fireworks>Super. Kills everyone, even OG sentinel lol.

When playing with Zero on the team as well, I can do acid rain loops after stinger and build mad meter.

Wesker/Trish DHC glitch means Wesker doesn’t need to OTG at the start, so he can do an extra relaunch. Typically I just do 2M>2H>236L>Dash 3C>2M>2H>236L>Call Low Voltage> 3C> 2H>5S>J.MMHS>Call Extender assist> 3C and either go into 236M>236L>Super for 1m damage or 5S>J.S>Teleport Down>Gun OTG>Mixups or THC or off screen teleport mixups after J.S.

I haven’t tried this yet but i’m thinking the timing would be tight because of assist cool down windows.

Round Harvest goes for a bit - I usually find myself waiting to teleport with Dante so my j.S grounder isn’t interrupted by the last hits of Round Harvest. I’ll play around with a few characters and see what can be done.

Edit: Alright played with it. It’s definitely possible with a variety of good assists (Doom, Sentinel, Tron, Phoenix, Akuma, etc), and pretty awesome damage-wise actually. I’ll take it over to the combo thread since it’ll be a lot of notation jibberish.

I really don’t like the traps, but I haven’t given them an honest shot either… I just put them in block stun with IM and IAD and try to open them up I also just mainly use it for chip when I need to, Round Harvest/ H Low voltage/IM unibeam

@Nini Heart well I personally don’t use it myself since I can do around the same damage with 3 meters, and I build about 1.5-2 meters within the combo
