Hang on, when you say MA do you mean Maximum Spider? If so, I’ll need to change the first post again.

Sorry, I didn’t play MvC2, but what are the angles like on Web Throw? I read about using different button strengths for different angles, but can it be used like an AA?

Sorry, I’ll add that to first post. His angles are horizontal, diagonal and vertical. I don’t know what strength = which angle, but I’d guess A = horizontal, B = diagonal and C = vertical. I’ll wait for verification on that though.

What’s his standard combo with no walls look like? I imagine ABCD ^ a.ABCD xx Web Swing into either MS or a.ABCD again?

Will any strength web ball hit in aerial combos?

As far as his runaway, he gets 2 air dashes. Do web zip/web swing count as air dashes? Can he do multiple Web zips in one jump?

What directions can he do web zip in, both air and ground?

that first combo wont work, hit stun scaling wrecks it. in this game its not about how many hits you can fit in one combo, but how short and sweet you can make the combo, thanks to hit stun scaling.

no web balls will combo in the air, they are all just too slow.

you can web zip diagonally up, down, or straight left or right.

I know you can do 1 Web dash, 1 Web zip, 1 web swing all in one jump, but what are the limits per jump? Can you do 2 web dashes, two web zips, and two web swings all in one jump? Is there some sort of counter for each move once he jumps or does he just get a certain number of aerial movements per jump. I would imagine Web dash and Web zip would be considered differently from web swing. Just trying to figure out what the possibilities of movement are once airborne.

I really hope that you can evade Hailstorm in some way like that.

We already know you can avoid Hail Storm with a full screen SJ and any move that lets you hover for a second. SJ to upward web zip or web ball ought to do the trick.

Sounds great then! Spidey is definitely gonna annoy a lot of foes especially grapplers.

Yeah that’s good and all but I’m still annoyed there’s no real way to punish Hail Storm. Friends with the game are saying that it’s essentially nonpunishable since if you hit Storm, the Hail Storm still continues. Ughhh… like you said though, at least Spidey has some options to avoid it. I feel bad for a few characters though.

Hey, at least she’s wasting a bar. That’s still a nice advantage. Maybe Maximum Spider can punish it? Seems to have a lot of invincibility, but you’d need some reactions. Wrap dat bitch in some cotton candy!

And about Magneto MT and Doom PA? A Maximum Spider could punish also that?
