Yeah basically as long as you’re not dead middle in the screen u dont have to worry too much. Plus the super itself doesn’t really do much damage and by the time it does hit u in a cross up situation you’ve already gotten away from some of the potential hits.
Yeah i picked up Wesker because I dont think Viper is really figured out enough and I really like what Buk has been doing with him. He’s like a less broke version of Toki from HnK which is still pretty crazy. I dont know why Capcom though he needed 1.1 mil health when he has bnb’s that once u practice down just gobble up your health with no super meter at all. Really fun and unique play style though. As strong as his offense is his weakness is basically what he excels at. He gets rushed down pretty hard too so he has to stay moving to not get in trouble. All he has to protect himself are prediction counter specials, counter super or reaction/pray level 3. Maximum Wesker/Phantom Dance is better as a whiff punisher than anything else because of the sub par damage output and how easily it trades with other moves.

I’ll agree that sentinel is annoying, but I’ve had more trouble with hulk online than anyone. I also feel that x factor is such a saving grace: akuma with alevel 3 x factor = many wins for me. My team of skrull, morrigan, and akuma is showing alot of promise so far.

You could dash through a crouching ryu if you do a deep jumpin with magneto and storm that hits. Didn’t test it with anyone else.

Anyway, ugh… where to start today…, I played a lot last night, and realized blocking in this game is horrendous. Especially when ALL it takes for most characters is to get in a low light attack, and then you are in the air and off to the races cause your block is dropped. Fought so many people that just sat there… crouching, waiting for you to walk up and then destroy you with a low attack. You have no choice to sit there and attempt keep away. Also fought a good wolverine that just again, gives you a low sweep then into the air for a nice like 60 hit combo. I might as well go make supper, cause it takes about 10 seconds to finish and does 80% of my life. And it’s not like it’s easy to defend against, it’s a fucking single LOW attack that hits you, and you are looking at 80% life gone, cause the combo is dirty easy to do.
Fortunately, I’ve never seen many Sents., when I do I’ve never had a problem with him, however the people using him are complete scrubs. For me it’s all the Wolverines, Spidermans, and fuckin Weskers.

Not as bad as a turtle wolverine who sits on down back and waits for you to approach, alternating between Beserker Claw and Beserker Barrage until you’re dead. Crossup Claw is hard to react to online.

I just came 2nd in a ps3 control pad only tourney and won a psp… I only have a 360 and play stick lol my friend is a pad warrior who won and my bro came 3rd also a pad warrior… So upsetting man I wish there wasnt discrimination againsts sticks they said it gives you an advantage as to why they were banned…
They also banned sentinel until I convinced them otherwise lol if it wasnt for him I wouldnt even of made top 4

I’m still torn on Deadpool for my team (Wolverine/Dante). I may just try switching up his assist. I have Katana-Rama set for OTG… but I never actually use it for that successfully. Thinkin’ of maybe switching to Viper. High assist could be a very nice tool.

Wesker is the shit. He has to be such a badass character and borderline broken because he’s… well the only Capcom villain in the game, aside from Tron (who is also hard-hitting with high health and decent mobility) and Akuma, who… can’t really be considered a villain because he’s just like Ryu; traveling the world looking for people dope enough to fight/kill.
That said, I will NEVER take Wesker off my team again. I tried going with Trish/Morrigan/Phoenix. I got a couple of wins, but dude, Trish just isn’t the one for me b. Wesker has a fucking gun that has gotten me so many NAOCVs in this game that I can’t bear to swap him out. One of my favorite kills was against a Thor who thought it would be OK to do that beam for the first 15secs. Well, Wesker crouches UNDER the beam and his gun shots faster. I felt like I was playing Time Crisis. Take cover/reload, pop out and shoot. lol.
I’m thinking of rebuilding my team with a character who isn’t Sentinel on it, but I don’t know who I want yet. Right now, I’m running Wesker/Phoenix/Sentinel. Wesker Butterfly, Phoenix Overdrive, Sentinel Drones. All three of my characters have their own OTG moves that aren’t supers, so I can continue combos with them, but I want to build a second team that I can get comfortable with to harass people.
Yeah it was a scrubfest I have never seen that many unibeams in my whole life… let alone the random proton cannons… My friend got a ps3 though which is what I originally wanted…
I just dont understand how using stick makes you a threat lol I guess people are scared of what they dont understand…

I really want to see how far we can break Sentinel. As long as these anti sentinel strategies exist,I’m gonna try and actually do some work with him (although it isn’t required most of the time)
