Chris is pretty awesome. Keepaway like that is just so fun sometimes. It requires you to think more instead of just execution.
I’ve been a wolvie main since day one. Played about 3000 matches and I def think he’s high tier. people forget it’s a team game an with the right assist he’s def getting in. good wolvie players know great mixups and will hit confirm you into a BnB and cost u a character. my worst matchup is against a Wesker and beam assist. I need to learn that matchup I guess but I feel wesker owns wolvie.
Yeah Wesker can generally not give a shit about Wolverine. Rhino Charge and ground samurai edge gun shot keeps hit dive kick and berserker charge game in check. Some characters have issues against Wolverine because they dont have anything to keep Wolvie in check but Wesker has plenty of those things and can if he wants to can just play the run and gun away teleport game against him also until he finds a good spot to land a hit.
Wolverine is generally too easy to use for what he can do to not be high tier though. He’ll always be a threat it’s just there will definitely be other characters that end up just as good or surpassing him IMO when people decide to learn more than left right and dive offensive strategies with their characters.
What I hate is there are so many careless Wesker players who abuse the fact he has so much health. If they lowered it back to what Dante has it would get rid of a lot of Wesker players who just spam his teleports. I doubt capcom will nerf their beloved character tho.
Im starting to think wesker owns anyone not called amateratsu, dude is something ridiculous.

Kind of hard to instantly test something against people without online.
You make it sound like Shadow Mode is anywhere near as important as playing actual people online though.
You realize not everyone has access to an active scene and online is all some people actually have right?
I was thinking about picking up this game again, but I just can’t get around it’s control scheme. The Special Attack button is what gets me most. How am I supposed to play this game?
To be honest I liked ‘Exchange’ better. Special Attack is a misnomer. Nothing special about it… it either launches, aerial tags, or slams. I would have kept Exchange. Or maybe call it Shifting Strike, as it seems to shift the fight into different phases. Eh, it’s whatever.
Jeez, I swear the freakin’ Stream thread is always lost. Nobody wants to post in it. Which really sucks because I wanted to discuss the epicness that was Power Up.

The stream thread has been on the front page for a long time now. Haven’t seen it pushed to the next page. It’s not a sticky, so you’ll actually have to read a few more lines of text to find it.
And PowerUp wasn’t that hype for Marvel, imo.
Huh, well thanks. Guess I’m easily hyped because I was loving the whole stream. Not only for Marvel, but for MK9 and Super as well.
Online is the only way I get to play this game against people, and online is filled with laggy matches and people who just press random buttons. It’s just not that fun for me honestly. I’m sure I’d enjoy the game a lot more if I had a group of offline friends to play against, but I don’t. All of my friends in real life are the CoD/Halo types.
That button would be okay if it didn’t automatically do launchers for me and could be used for special moves to. The control scheme just messes a lot of stuff up for me. I’m used to Viper’s TK being qcb now its forward and Tron Bonne’s drill is now awkwardly back dp. I just can’t get past the control scheme and watching night fights makes me hype. What’s the best button set up?

wesker is really good but people forget projectile assist or multiple projectile character own wesker when spaced will also invisible assist.
