Oh I don’t mind if they make another TvC… The only reason why I’m happy about it is because the great sales for MvC2 finally made capcom get off their asses and make us a MvC3.
But yeah, I hope TvC breaks records for all I care… so long as it doesn’t affect my new marvel game and all.
For new characters I think Nightcrawler would be pretty awesome. Tyrant from RE2 would be pretty awesome.

And honestly, IMO, fuck marvel 2. It literately houses every quality I think a bad fighting game could possibly have. And fuck the Vs. series period, honestly. I mean, I kind of got enjoyment of out some of them, but I seriously think marvel 2 is one of the worst. If not, THE worst.

I have no problem with the game being in the TVC engine.It’s one of the best Capcom has ever made.Baroque and mega crash are really positive for the VS series,especially mega crash as it eliminates infinites.
I don’t mind infinites, especially if they’re difficult to do. Most of the time though they aren’t really “infinites”… they are just used to build meter and chain into a super. I rarely see anyone take an “infinite” combo all the way through to the juggle, because the genius part of MvC2 is the higher the hits during the combo, the less damage. So after a while your attacks really don’t do shit and unless you know you’re good at executing them you’re better off doing a different combo for better damage.
I mean, MvC2 certainly hasn’t been ruined and unplayable because of infinites… It is still being played and loved today.

No it hasn’t been ruined because of infinites it’s just that’s one of the things that has plagued the games identity.Whether or not it is true or not,there will always be people who think “oh MVC2?Isnt that that game where you get killed in one combo by Magneto?”.Adding in Mega crash helps get rid of those stereotypes and misconceptions.
Aside from that Mega crash adds depth to the game in the fact that you have to be strategic about when you use it.Do you take the big damage combo and save the meter or do you burn it to get out of the situation.It can instantly change the flow of a match and that example is just a basic one.

I actually got some fun out of a few of the games(not marvel 2) and even if I didn’t I’m not closed minded enough to shut out a new game that could potentially fix the problems I had with the last entry. Marvel 2’s system (for the most part) was fine, but there were other things that made me dislike it. I feel there’s potential for a good game there so naturally I’m interested. Again, stop being so butthurt.
