Blanka and Q would be my choices for addition to the Capcom roster. My two favorite SF characters in one game.

On the Marvel side, Deadpool, obviously, but I’d really like to see Bishop from X Men.

I love the Vs games, but one thing that always stood out to me is how poorly expressed the Street Fighter cast is. For XMvsSF, MSvsSF and MVC they still work out as playable and some stand out as really good, but by MVC2 they all pretty much lagged behind.

Some characters feel like they have been punished for the transition; Ken as an example. His Shinryuken is definitely a level up, however his Hadouken loses range. In a game full of characters who throw beams, why does Ken’s fireball lose range? I understand the need to make Ken and Ryu more distinctive, but wouldn’t the smarter choice in such an over the top game have been to make Ryu’s fireballs better rather than Ken’s weaker?

Akuma also stands out. This was the one place where we could have realistically have had Shin-Akuma (double air fireballs for instance) and instead got much less.

Standard projectiles do not translate well to the Marvel world. Characters who normally are known for strong zoning games (Ryu, Guile) lose their tools when there is super jumping, beams, and super armor everywhere.

The one thing I want from an MVC3 which is a must is a better translation of the SF character’s tools. Give us Shin Akuma instead of regular Akuma. Give Ryu his Flame Hadouken (make the fire one go on an angle so he can complement his dragon punch), make his Tatsumaki dodge beams. Give Gief better green hand properties, better forward momentum and make it actually useful against beams.

Many of the SF casts moves should be on par with their EX counterparts in SF4 and SF3. Just using bigger sprites worked for the first few games, but didn’t work in MVC2.

Another problem plaguing the SF cast which can only be fixed by making new sprites; The comparative sprite size of the Alpha sprites to the Marvel sprites. The Marvel sprites are slightly bigger than the SF sprites and while they can correct that somewhat with hit boxes, they can only do so much without making the game look completely retarded. The sizing issues creates reach problems which negatively effect the effectiveness of every SF character in the cast.

Capcom needs to consider Bionic Commando, Arthur, and that guy from Trojan

I would say that Thor is a certainty since he has a big movie in the works. I also would love to see Wesker make an appearance, I think he would fit in better than Jill Valentine.

I forgot completely about Bionic Commando, definitely need to see him make an appearance (Classic version of course). What about Super Joe from Commando? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commando_(video_game)

Also that Capcom Versus game sounds like it would be fun, but if all we have to go off is a poster on Eventhubs, I’m not really too filled with faith in that claim.

The ones who definitely need to make this are the Grand Masters (Claw, Boxer, and Sagat) for once. I know they were in the Capcom Vs SNK series, but they were never in a game that had super jumping. Always seemed odd that Dan and Servbot made it ahead of them.

If this game is real they still need to reuse the morigan sprite. It’s tradition now
