Got me issue #3 today. Excellent writing as usual. Best part however has to be Sana Takeda’s art for the flashbacks. Loli X should be enough to get the Arcana Heart players on board

I fucking hate X-23. She is a shitty character from a shitty show. I read the comic where she first appeared in(NYX) and it was really good but it’s not like Laura was the focus of it anyway. Then I read several of her comics and they kept falling below my expectations despite the art being pretty good.
Laura’s best stuff was her role with the (New) New X-Men. Basically her joining one of the four teams of mutant teens the X-Men had brought around as representatives of the student class whenever things get dicey. It was going pretty well too… before the writer decided it was time to slaughter half the cast without mercy.
IMO, her current book is one of Marvel’s best at the moment. Heck, most reviewers agree too.
I agree with d3v her current book is pretty good. I personally find her to be the most interesting character introduced in recent years. I need to pick up X-23 #3 though. Just read Daken #3 this morning which was pretty good itself.
