Does it means that is more about the hotel accepting it than the store shipping to the hotel or it’s more about communicating the hotel that you will make an online purchase that will arrive while you’re staying there?
I’ll just go to a Gamestop in Union Square in Manhattan and have it at midnight. Faster than release day shipping.
I’d do the same myself, but like I said, I’m not from US, a friend of mine that will be there when Marvel 3 come out said that I could send it to the hotel he will be staying and he would bing it to me.
It’s very hard to convince a hotel to get a package for you, in my experience. And carriers won’t deliver to a P.O. box either. Your best bet is to talk to some SRKer and hope that person is willing to receive the package for you.

Your other option is to call the hotel and ask. Did you do that yet?
No because I still need to know where exactly he will be in that day so I don’t send it to the wrong place, that’s the necessity of the Release Date Shipping and the reason why I think that Amazon is the best choice for me.

well technically the whole point of this is, other than saving $10, is for the referral to save us more. May as well help someone out from the community if you are going to buy it.

you sir are full of shit and must be a game advisor(part-timer). you DO NOT get 10% off new product and you CANNOT take games home before street date. I was a manager for almost 3 years and know the rules pretty damn well. If for some retarded reason your boss lets you take it home before SD(street date) then your store can get in huge trouble upto and including TERMINATION. learn your own program seriously — edge card = 10% off USED and 10% additional on trade-ins. the discount on new product is VERY VERY minor; the discount you’ll get on a new game is basically saving you TAX. the discount on accessories is much better and there is NO discount on consoles. just wow; does game stop just hire anyday average morons nowadays.

there is also a pre-order option at best buy - although there is almost no incentive to get it from there unless like me you work there and will get a fairly minor discount
