I’d get so many copies.
Have you heard about the Victory project? I was supposed to make a video for this, but I only started using my new camera just before Evo, and then managed to get it locked down in Vegas with the Evo stuff until January. :nunchuck:
But yeah – there’s at least a potential interesting project going on on that front.
It’s needed a meaningful front page for forever and a day. If somebody random goes to it, how would they make any sense of it? I think it kind of makes sense now. I’m open to ideas, though.
It’s a good message for the front page, I just meant the sentiment.
Just cause I’m kind of interested anyone that frequents this section go to STA? I go there regularly Though I won’t be able this week till Firday and hey more in person MVC2 is the best thing on Earth.
Thanks for remembering ‘Victory’ (MvC2 documentary), Zach. For those interested in the MvC2 documentary, check out the Youtube channel I created for it:
I had a lot of optimism regarding the project. Although there were a great deal of people (40-50+) who said they would contribute response videos for the documentary, unfortunately only FOUR people actually sent videos. In Preppy’s case I understand why he was unable to, and he has contributed so much to the MvC2 community and to me that i would never be disappointed in him.
I can’t say the same for the rest of the people though. I was told that I would receive responses from players all over the world: Germany, Peru, The Phillippines, Mexico, Japan and more. There were also several US players who promised to send in video responses. It has now been almost a year since I uploaded the Victory video, and the majority of people have not responded. I put considerable time and effort into making those questions and distributing the video to as many MvC2 players as possible. It is disconcerting and very disappointing that so few people have contributed.
People often wonder why a MvC2 documentary was never made. Well there is your answer: The players who love the game don’t care enough to contribute to a documentary.
Some may say I should track people down and hound them until they send me a video response. Yes I could certainly do that. I do not want to do that though. It’s honestly far too much trouble. If people really wanted to contribute, if they really wanted a MvC2 documentary, then they would take 5-10 minutes and use any type of recording device (Cell phone, Camcorder, Digital Camera, etc) and make a video. It’s not rocket science. Either way, as much as it pains me to say this, I doubt the documentary will ever be made. People just don’t care enough. I refuse to put it extra work and care enough to compensate for all the people who don’t care at all.
Gonna try and get you a vid of myself Brett. This is the kinda thing I wanna see happen, and if I can contribute to its eventual creation, I gotta do it
I’m not a world class player but I love the game and would love to contribute as best I can.
Also my gf asked me to play Xbox with her today, it was weird, she asked me to play mvc2 and teach her it lol.
Also just by chance we had Haagen daz ice cream lol
She’s a keeper it sounds like…lmao

For some reason The username Augmint was taken - i think i registered for Youtube years ago with an old - now dead - lycos account.
If you haven’t used your username for quite some time. It should be deleted and you may or may not reuse it again because it will be listed as a “guest.” Could be wrong.
OK - may have to ask around. Took username Augmintt instead.
On a side note - modded my HRAP using this tutorial - it does dampen noise alot. Less “clacky”
