yeah, that’s probably what happened here…because BH and MM are definitely placed wrong. we know how good they are. BH does not belong beasting on As and MM does not belong beasting on Bs (though a lot of the Bs should be high in B or even in A)
it’s still useful for random fun. if any tourneys were ran off this, I’m sure most of the people involved will know about the issues with BH and MM
Yeah the tier buttons are there more or less as an ease of use feature. Manual bannings and unbannings make any ban set possible.
Now introducing Variety Mode!!!
Variety Mode - With Variety Mode turned on the most recent 20 characters that have been selected using the script will be banned from generation behind the scenes. What does this mean for you? Well Variety Mode is not true random, but it instead ensures a greater variety of characters in a short amount of time. This is because with true randomization there is the possibility of getting back the exact same team three times in a row. We may change the way Variety Mode works in the future. Feedback would be most appreciated. A warning: Variety Mode may not be used with less than 23 characters available and will most likely be detrimental to character selection with less than 30 characters available.
For the record, the script has never worked properly in IE, nor will it ever work in IE. IE does some really weird stuff. I would have to completely change my code in order for this to work. I’ll look into it, but I don’t make any promises. The specific error is sometimes you will get “Iceman assist Iceman” as output for a character. This is because Microsoft sucks. Its not my fault.
On a more technical level (for those who care) this is broken because when IE runs JavaScript code it can’t tell the difference between name and id tags for form elements so it lumps them all together.
