Don’t listen to him, the best way to learn and get better is to play the OG’s and learn from them. For goodness sake just don’t become a youtube learner.
Tbh i get too bored learning stuff from youtube. I normally just mess about in training mode until i find combos myself. Obviously they have been done before, but it’s rewarding to find 'em yourself. For example with Strider, i like to use c.lp c.lk c.hk c.lk c.hp (launch) then ariel stuff (can’t be bother to write it)
I like to close in distance with him by catch them with the end of his slide then c.hp you catch a lot of people off guard with that surprisingly.
