For now I would like to know if youāre looking for a single unit, double unit (like the black X-arcade), or 2 single units. I need to know this so I can get a general idea of the amount of parts that I need to order. After I finish the first prototype, which should be by this weekend, Iāll discuss further details about the sticks.

After placing last in the previous tourney, ChiChi went and practiced with the Shaolin masters and returned with a vengence!! The "Holy Shit!:eek: " of the tourney was when Perry came back with only Cable against Jerrys entire MSP team and sent Jerry to the losers bracket.
If someone is willing to host the next tourney, let me know. Iāll be happy to help organize it.

also i think next time we should have a mvc2 tourney and a cvs2 tourney at the same timeā¦
since most of the people who got in last place or second to last in mvc2 were cvs2 playersā¦so us cvs players who hate mvc2 cause we suck, we shouldnāt even bother and we should just have cvs2ā¦
but i think one rule should be, you canāt be in both tourneyā¦
also if we cvs2 players who suck in mvc2 dont play mvc2 the battles would be better cause no one would suckā¦
i think the tourneys would take the same amount of time since we are only using one tv for each tourneyā¦
also does anyone else have sticks? i mean is corrado, the guy who brought the double stick thing and me the only people who have sticksā¦
everyone was pretty good at mvc2 or cvs2 and you must have had sticks to practice with. so you should bring themā¦i mean we could have 3 stations
Syn is the one who brought both MAS sticks, the huge double stick thing (Mission Control according to Andy :lol:) was Walterās. Yea, I felt kinda bad for the CvS2 players who had to sit around after losing.

In our case, this is not a good idea b/c some of the MvC2 players also plays CvS2. So if we hold the two tourneys at the same time, there will be like 3 people for the CvS2 tourney and somewhere in the teens for the MvC2 tourney. But for casual play, a station for MvC2 and a station for CvS2 is a definitely a good idea.
Itās not about sucking in the game, but instead, itās all about having fun. Take you for example. You took out a pretty good Strider/Doom player who used to play casually with Benā¦ and you just started playing MvC2 a few days ago! Doesnāt that get you a least bit excited? Wasnāt you enjoying the moment? Donāt deny it b/c I saw that big ass smile on your face after you put him into the loserās bracket.
Besides, Iām sure most, if not all, of the MvC2 players (even the sucky ones) wouldāve participated in the CvS2 tourney. Well, I wouldāve force them anyway.
Like I said before, youāll end up with only like 3 people for CvS2.
If the CvS2 players didnāt participate, then I would had to replace you guys in the MvC2 brackets with a Bye. Iām pretty sure the MvC2 players would rather play somebody than nobody. Besides, we need you guys for practicing our combos.
I agree with you on this. If they have good sticks then they should bring them. The reason why no one else brought sticks is b/c in my invitation I said that I will provide sticks for both stations.
A person doesnāt neccesarily have to own a stick to become good at a fighting game. Take Jerry, Andy, and Danny for example. They got their skills mainly from playing in the arcades.
