My fellow Long Islanders. The time has come for us to find a true arcade for out MvC2 worship. As we all know, the Nathan’s near Roosevelt Field mall has been the “spot” of MvC2ism on Long Island. But now we players are in a rut. The Nathan’s machine is getting worse even as we speak. Today it was the fierce punch on the left side. Tommorow it WILL BE THE LEFT SIDE!(Crowds roars in agreement)
Now, what other arcades are there where we can play? It’s not Q-Zar, where the sticks are stiffer then a porn star on Viagra, and rap music is blasted to decibals far beyond normal. It is not Jillians, where they don’t even have the machine. What kind of arcade doesn’t have MvC2. I’ll tell you, a SHITTY ONE.(Crowd roars in anger)
And what of this Sports Plus. I’m afraid it has suffered the fate of Jillians. But, there is a small ray of hope for us. I hear that Peter Pan in Bayside has the game of gods and is fully functional as well. I say we storm this Peter Pan and take over!(Someone yells “Amen Brother”)
But there will always be some ray of hope for us. Hopefully in two weeks Syn will have a session at Jim’s house. This is perfect for our plans, as those wretched educational facilities are closed due to Yom Kippor. On that Sunday my bretheren, we shall plan. We shall plan for the ultimate spot on Long Island to play MvC2, and we shall conquer it, in the name of every MvC2 player on this island of great length. And we shall prevail, FOR WE ARE MANY!(Crowds yells in anxiousness)
There will be a 32 man tourney at Jim’s this Sunday 9/15. (Crowd chants: “Holy Shit! Holy Shit!..etc”)

the peter pans in bayside has mvc2. but the damage rating is really high. the guy who runs it is really nice so u can ask him to fix it. i think u should tell him to fix the sticks cuz they are not that nice.

I bumped into the Mexi Bros last night at BJs and they said that the machine is fixed. They actually fixed it… on a Sunday!:eek:

I have SUPER DOOPER news! Right off of sunrise hwy on rockaway ave a game room opened. I call it a game room bc it only has 3 arcade machines (DDR, tekken 4, and a raceing game). But it has an xbox, ps2, n64, game cube, that u pay to play for a certain amount of time. I talked to the lady who runs it and she was very willing to get a dreamcast and mvc2/ cvs2 tournies going. She said other ppl had already requested about it. She also considered getting the arcade version of Mvc2. As eveyone knos there is no spot on li for our silly games so this could be it. the game room is only blocks from the train station and is borderline nassau/ queens so hopefully we get players from all over.
