Does anyone have both versions of the game? XBLA and PSN?
I have both and after playing both…honestly…online and off, the PS3 ver is better, IMO.
Granted, the level of comp is better on xbox live. the players are there.
But in terms of how the game performs, and plays, PSN ver. is way better. It connects to players more often and more stable. The online netcode seems smoother. Feels like playing offline seriously. It doesn’t lag while picking your characters and at character select screen.
And you know this game lags online, even offline while the match starts after the FIGHT! scrolls by to begin the match, and even during random segments like activating supers or dhcs.
Try em out at a friends house if you know someone who has it on psn. Seriously. Hope im not the only one who sees this.
i have both…haven’t been able to test thoroughly…I do know that the PS3 version crashed on me like 3 times lol
perhaps xbl is laggier because there are more players on it than psn?
Perhaps, but ive played over 100 matches on PSN and not one has given me the lag that xbox does. not a single one. its very fluid.
And xbox has offline lag and stuttering. PSN doesn’t as far as i can tell. i test both out more as the days go by.
What about sf4? Is your SF4 better on PSN as well?
Because for me and a majority of people, sf4 on xbl is better than on psn and so we bought marvel on xbl instead… I only know one guy who has both versions of sf4 that prefers PSN over XBL. That’s why I bought marvel for 360 instead and have not bought it for PSN. I’m curious though.
SF4 is kinda dead for me on PSN…so hard to get a match. Not many people are playing. I have better experiences with SF4 on XBL.
