yeah i dnt see why too, but b/c of ppl wanted to stick with same format as XBL i put that down, but prob ill take that out of the rules
if it’s even in the rules in the XBL…I don’t think people follow it anyway. I haven’t lost yet, so I haven’t really had a chance to switch teams. but some players have powerhouse teams where I think you need to try and be able to experiment since a lot of these non-top-tier matchups are new to many.
Ok. Cool. So, there are not set teams per player right?
yeap it is on the XBL rules. and you are right i dont have a low tier team so i keep switching teams all the time. so i think is better to take that off.
thanks man
-tiMSP- : yeap no set of team, u can switch teams if you want
I’m in.

Count me in. The bluray drive died in my PS3 so the only game I got to play is basicly MvC2 til I get a new one. Havnt played in forever but w/e even losing is fun (when its not to god tier characters)
Rules are simple:
matches are best of 5
dnt pick any banned character
brackets will be up on monday so u’ll know ur opponent
pla your matches on time and you’ll be fine
if someone dont follows the rules i assume the opponent will say something… nd I’ll do somethin about it
PS: Beats I have a question for u … u are in the XBL league, and just wanna make sure with the “pick a team for the week and stik with it” … how does that works? can you pick a different team in the same match?
[/quote]
see i understand that much but what i dont know is where the brackets will be up.
who will watch the fight
how do i know where to go? i mean i dont know about all of you but when i refresh or log in i do not see the same rooms all of you see believe it or not it is total random so you might see and be in one room but i might not see it at all.
and how do i know when the other person will be on line? LMAO this is more complicated than i thought or i might be making it more complicated then it really is.
I like the rules, Rules are Rules, it was set and people should just follow them. I play Charlie (Nash), Iceman, and depending on my mood, Son Son, Callosus, cap comando, spiderman (retired). gully or bison. fun fun
no one watches
you invite the person you’re supposed to play to your room (or they invite you…whatever. just communicate with them)
add them to your friendlist/PM them on SRK. communicate the time range you guys will be on. c’mon…this is sorta common sense I think…
I was thinking about it… maybe we should establish a window that works well for East coast, West coast and in between?
Something like 10 to 1 a.m. Eastern, which would be 7 to 10 p.m. Pacific?
And then try to invite someone in the league as a witness? Just send an invite with something like “witness plz” in the title.
I wish there was an easy way to record some of this!
Im at work all day on the weekdays and get home around 5:30-6:00 so im available from 6:30 to around 11 pacific on the week days on the weekends im free all day.:wgrin:
see im not the only one who is finding a small problem here lol. ^.^
im home recuperating so ill be here, but the other person might not be, and then finding them and then having them add me or me adding them might prove a small time crunch cause they might not get around to it or accidentally delete the other i have no idea. im just thinking there should be a little more to this than common sense.
if its such a big problem for you to find time then dont play. problem solved, just find a room where their playing low tier and play with them.:wonder:
Agreed. I mean… the whole series of matches will only take 20 mins (max!). People should be able to stay up just 15 mins later, right?
All you have to do is post the results. It shouldn’t be a big deal. There’s no need for a proctor. If you lose… you lose… Why would anybody lie about that?
I agree that a witness probably isn’t necessary. I wouldn’t mind personally if one was present, though. It wouldn’t hurt.
Especially if they had a setup to record it. That would be nice.
The only thing with the “witness” is that there isn’t a way to have a person just be a spectator… I think that once one of the players loses, the spectator’s turn will come up. Right?
In any case, I would think that some of the matches that Beats and VDO play in will be GDLK! Hahaha… (just hopes it’s not on me! )
Right. You would either have to “kill off” the witness, or I guess he could drop and re-join.
And yeah, there should be some nice matches out of this.
I’ll play. I should be able to make the time. If not, I’ll contact my opponent via PSN message system.

are you kidding? there is no problem except with you it seems. PM and/or add the person you’re going to play next. message them and set this up. there is nothing hard about this. you’re just overthinking it.
if you can somehow get a spectator for your match, that’s nice. but spectators are just going to make things harder than they need to be in a casual low tier tourney/league. we’ve never had a problem with this in the XBL league.
Alright, I’m in.
