MvC2 low tier league (PSN) 11th tourney! Farewell MvC2 nd Welcome MvC3! (LAst 1?)

damn those finals were fucking straight.

cant wait to get this second tourney started and get some games in.

ok Ppl Lets start this thing?

1st. We have 28 players this time, I added 3 extra players from the first tourney (why? Because, I wanted to fill up some byes, is simple if they still wanna play they will show up, if not, they won?t. period) making a total of 31 players. Is a 32-man bracket, so, there is one spot left, if someone wants to be added just LMK. First come first serve.

2nd. Last tourney took too long, so this time I am going to give 3 days to get the first round matches done and after that I only will be giving 2 DAYS, yes, ONLY 2 DAYS to get the matches done.

3rd. I notice that players get inactive when they are DQ from the tourney (I know I don?t like to wait either) so, I want to try something new, as you can see players who lose on the first round on the losers bracket are automatically placed on the 25th place. (7 players) in that case I want to run a mini ranbats, where everyone plays everyone. (Ex. Player 1 plays player 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7?. Player 2 plays player 1,3,4,5,6 and 7 and so on?.) for every win you?ll get 3 points and for every lost you get 0 when all the matches are done the player with most points get the 25th place, the second the 26th, the third the 27th ? until get the 32nd place. The same with the players on the 17th, 13th, 9th, 7th and 5th places ?. Its just an idea I had to keep players active when they are DQ?d.

IDK what you guys think about it? Do you want to try it? Or not? Just say YES or NOT, if no one wanna try it I will throw it away. As simple as that.

4th. This time there was a seeding I seeded 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place from the last tourney.

5th. Rules are the same.

i think itz a good idea for people who get knocked out early

however, there will be more people with zero points than one, and because of that, more people with same amount of points…instead of doing it for placed ranking, you should just award points to people who are active, whether they knocked out in the tourny or not (so that people who advance gets points as well)…then you can find who is active and be able to seed the tournies in the future

i think ur idea sounds like a good way to keep people from straying and missing out on future tournies, so however u do it is more than appreciated…just giving some of my input
