Ok Ok Ok Ok Ok Ok…
Again I dont play or own mvc3. Didn’t even own vanalia. Only vs game I own is mvc2.
With that said, I went to the gathering at this store were they host nothing but fighting games, so all the old and new heads go there to practice, and I though I would try umvc3 out just to see how bad/scrubby the game still was. Everyone there was purely mvc3 heads and went to tournaments did okay/good and just fucking in love with the damn game. Doing long as dial a combo type shit, simi infinite from the looks of it(shit don’t know I dont play the game), and other “advance stuff” as far as the game is concerned itself.
So, I never own the game, never enter any tournaments, never looked at any videos. I tried to but it was so damn boring in the first 5 seconds because the game itself. Anyways with that said, when I just went to try the game out at the place which was a (BYOS), I decided I was going to play on pad, while everyone else played on sticks. I never us pad for fighting games, but with umvc3 I made a exeption.
**So, I got on and play these hardcore heads, I won some and I lost some but the scores I had vs each person I played was like 10+ and up. **It got to the point were I just put down the “PAD” and walked off laughing because that shit was a fucking disgrace. Plus, I got bored playing the game because its so stragiht foward unlike mvc2.
I didn’t need no so called advance combos, semi infinite, long as dial a combo,combovideos, nothing… I did was a,b,c knock them to the ground,super. Shit did like 50%. I meter build fast in umvc3, so after one simple bread and butter, I touch the opponent again and take him in the air then I a,b,c knock them to the ground super, repeat.
How can you explain that? I should be able to dominant like that, becaue Im getting a,b,c, super and getting 50%. That’s dumb.
And dont act surprise because capcom said they wanted to make these new fighters in the way were anyone!!! can just hop in the game and play and do good or decent. Ill admit they didnt lie about that.
