Aside from Chun Li, if you can add 1 SF character to the game who would it be?

I’d choose Ingrid, despite her young girlish look she’s a goddess so she’s actually more powerful then she looks (she’s also the most powerful SF character). Plus it’s time she make a comeback anyway

Gems will probably be like Grooves, you need to select it before the match. They could go two ways with this, first is that they are complex, specific to each character almost like the V-trigger. In which case its gonna be a hell of alota work which explains why there will only be 24 characters.

If its generic, it could be that it will effect the characters the same way as follows:

Soul (Green) – Once activated life force slowly recovers
Time (Orange) – Er… something else.
Space Purple – Speed Increase
Mind (Blue) – Increase defense ability, maybe even a parry?
Reality (Yellow) – Enhance Special Moves
Power (Red) – Damage Increase

It could also be based on the various powers we saw in UMVC3 in the Heros and Heralds mode. Again, I strongly think one of the gems will have a parry ability.

Time - increase speed.

Space - increase defence.

Mind - gain meter over time.

Then leave the others as they are.

Basically make the Infinity Gems function like their Marvel Super Heroes equivalent again

2 vs 2 is really disappointing and the graphics look like shit in that trailer. Carol looks straight out of a Disney movie.

“Huge” roster is a good thing, but they could be including DLC in that, or assist characters.

I’m glad to hear about story and arcade mode, but I still want VS CPU.

I would of much preferred Tekken X Street Fighter to be honest. Hopefully I’ll be excited when they show gameplay but right now I’m apathetic.

I used to work mornings at an arcade when I was in college and I had the MvC2 machine set to be the loudest machine in the joint; every morning when I came in with my cup of coffee and flipped the switch to turn everything on, that’s the intro I heard playing over everything else in the place.

I’m also liking that they didn’t use Ms. Marvel’s bulldyke design. They gave her nice hair. Really glad they’re sticking it to the sorejaws.

Also I know Kamala will probably be in the game. I don’t care about that as long as they don’t capitulate to the tumblr idiots.

They’re using her long hair because it looks like they modeled her after the actress who will be playing her in the upcoming movie, Brie Larson.

I fully expect there to be a classic Ms Marvel DLC version of her too. (The black “Z” one piece and/or the blue, red classic Mar-Vell design)
