I almost agree with you. Capcom still loves their obscure characters. They use them every chance they get. However, they have very, very few chances to ever use them. I expect no more and no less than one obscure character.

To be fair Viewtiful Joe and Arthur come from old games (Arthurās was staright up from the mid 80s) but were still added to
Canāt speak for Powestone or Warzard, but the director for Rival Schools considered revamping the series and even has a SF5 stage with Rival Schools characters on it. So seeing Batsu (the series protaganist) or Akira (the series most liked character) or Tiffany (a fan favorite) wouldnāt be much of a surprise.
